Verizon speeds

So I guess it's safe to say Verizon has pretty slow speed test? Seems like mine are the best in one of my later post.

I'm going to download speed test on my gf's og droid when I get home to see if there is a difference.

Unfortunately, you have a Verizon iPhone. This is the one drawback. I hate my data speeds. That looks normal to me.

I mentioned in my first post I tested with strong 3G signal but took the screen shot in a basement with no signal.

I have not put down Verizon either unless you compare the photos (facts) of Verizon service to what others posted. I even said I liked Verizon .... For reasons unknown.

The reason I started this thread is because nothing would load, Internet, tapatalk etc. Not because of low speed test.

I'm going to continue testing but if someone were to ask me my conclusion now I'd probably say that Verizon is good and the iPhone is good but not together.

I'm sorry, I tend to glaze through when reading and didn't see the mentioned signal. I should had quoted the quote I put above yours here, thats what I had meant....all I could say is TGIF...sigh really do apologize for the miscommunication.

Dial *228 on your iPhone and press option 2 to update your roaming capabilities. Restart the phone by holding the home and power buttons at the same time....remain holding them through it saying slide to power off, remain holding the buttons while the power is off until it powers up at the apple logo, then release.

give everything a minute or so to register with the network, and let us know how it goes....

No it's not normal....that's pretty much what I'm getting in long island today, They must be having some problems today

Well I tested my gf's og moto droid and I won't bother to post the results as they are the same as my iPhone.

I'll just have to give it a couple days and hope its a network issue. Something has to be wrong because I can't stream Netflix as I normally can.

I'm getting 1.5mbps download and 0.9mbps upload on verizon 3G in NYC.

I just noticed on your very post post in this thread, your screen cap shows that you're on 1X, not EVDO. So it's definitely network related.
