I have the same issue, I'm guessing 9/19 is the correct date and the website showing 10/7 is just some estimate from normal processes

crap mine says 10/7/14 on the site and 9/19/14 on the e-mail...

which phone did you get? i made sure to get the one i wanted which shipped by 9/19... iphone 6+ gold 128gb
When I ordered my 6+, 64GB, space gray it said 9/19. My email now says 10/7. Guess I will have to try my luck in store.
looks like after a 4:00 AM trip to fedex to fax some crap in, and recalling to confirm receipt, everything for my wife's order looks good and she got the order confirmation email immediately after that, as did I.
So looks like we are good, we both have separate accounts with the cheapest share everything plan that we will now have to convert into two separate single line accounts, so i still have to call and do that.
one CS rep told me i couldn't change the plan from the share everything to the single line $60 plan until I receive the phone, but before i activate it, can anyone confirm this?

My order status says ships on 9/19/14 but through-out the site it said "delivery by 9/19" gonna be upset i ordered it at 11:56pm, that I didnt opt for in-store pick-up at the apple store, if Verizon doesn't ship until 9/19 that means we wont get until Monday 9/21, anyone know if VZW will ship 9/17-9/18 for us to get them on 9/19??
With an order pending on a phone line through Verizon, can you still wait in line at Apple and have them fulfill another order for the same phone line? I paid full price and did not renew a two-year agreement, but I'm unable to reorder on Verizon.com. I'd guess I could wait in line at Verizon and have the order canceled / fulfilled in store, but I wouldn't be too sure about Apple.
SO I woke up to a confirmation email that strangely says "delivers by 9/12/2014". But if I go to the order status page it says my order is being processed and has a delivery date of 10/14/2014. This better not be true, otherwise I will need to cancel and just do in store.
I received my confirmation e-mail around 5:30am this morning. It says delivery on 9/19 with an order date of 9/12. I cannot check Verizon's website, it still shows the order status down.
6plus128GBSpaceGray ordered just before midnight PDT (VZW pre-order went live a few minutes early). Got the conf e-mail at 12:11am with a 9/19 delivery date.
The release date of the phones are 9/25, not sure where people are getting 9/19 from. I started the preorder on verizons website about 2:55EST and finished by 3:00 My email came in 2 minutes later showing ships by 9/25 on both the email and the order status page.
Called in, got put on hold for an hour and 40 minutes. I hung up and called back and got right with a rep. Ordered about 2:45 PST. Was told I will get mine on the 30th, hopefully this changes. No email confirmation. Verizon website says order is still processing, and doesn't show a date.
