Right now I'm on AT&T 10GB with two paid off unsubsidized phones

$100-21 (21% Discount) +$15+15 = $109+ tax

Verizon is looking like this

$80-16 (20% discount) + $40 + $40 = $144 + Tax
One time $150/line for switching - $300 total
New phones at $299 each - $598 total (2 iPhone 6's 64GB)

Net I end up paying 35 more per month and $298 up front for the phones.

If Verizon would stop being greedy and offer the $25/line discount for bring you on phone. I would probably switch back. I'm using a Verizon iPhone 5 and a 5S that was original bought from Verizon. So both my phones can switch back with no problem.

Verizon does give you $25 per line if you bring your own phones (10GB or higher plan) ..It may not be listed but they will. You'd be at

$80 - 20% = $64 + $15 + $15 = $94+ tax

But you'd miss out on the $150 per line promotion if you bring your own phone.

I can 100% confirm that Verizon gives you $25 per line if you bring your own phone on the 10GB plans or higher because I have 2 Month to Month $25 discounts per line on my account from bringing my own phones.

You must have to call them to get the $15 byom price. I just went on the website and they're trying to charge me $40 for access. Oh and I missed the $35/line activation fee.

Verizon does offer a byod discount. It's called a 'month to month' promotion and you need to ask for it, but it does exist.

Whoops. Should have scrolled to the next page to see someone had already said this

Either way, if you bring your own device then there's no point in switching to verizon currently because you wouldn't get the $150 per line which in reality is $115 per line due to the $35 activation fee although there is a very very slight chance you might get the activation fees waived.

In my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo)

With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.

Oddly Verizon texted me yesterday and gave me a Halloween treat. Maybe their scared I'll switch to AT&T or something but they offer the normal $50 2GB more everything. I was on that plan, but yesterday they moved me to a Loyalty more everything 4GB for the same price. They doubled my data and I get $10 off each line for a year and I have roadside assistance and the 1GB promo data so its really 5GB. With 2 lines Im now paying $123 after taxes. I don't think I'm going anywhere anytime soon.

Verizon customers in contract ask about the more everything loyalty plan. Its a great deal.

Here's my question. Is it 110 for ten gb and two phones like this first picture says(discount of 25 per line) or is it more (discount of 15 per line) like the second picture says

I just switched to T-mobile and absolutely love it. Anyone living in metropolitan area and or traveling to Europe frequently should seriously consider it.

Same here. Paying $40 as part of a family plan and get truly unlimited everything. No throttling. No sharing data. No checking to see if AT&T is running a promotion this month.

Service has been equally as good for almost half the price.

Please note that the way they do that is that your plan calls for $40 for access and they provide a $25 bill credit. I'm guessing that the reason is so that they can stop doing it in the future if they wish.

While it is a good deal, you still have to finance your phones or pay full price for them, and you don't get any discount for it compared to how AT&T and Verizon give you a line for only $15 if you have 10GB or more.

Unlimited data is just like a high data allotment plan, if you don't use a lot of data then you're wasting your money. If you do however use (for example 30GB+ a month) then it's a great deal.

Anyone been able to take advantage of double data promo after the 31st? Regretting not getting 30gb for 130 when I had the chance
