Just posting this to say how happy I am with my iPhone 7 Plus. I got the Jet Black version and I think it looks great.

I was hesitant (see my other posts) regarding the Intel version of the phone which is the only one available here in Canada (model A1784). But, as it turns out, this phone is excellent. My LTE performance is great with this phone.

Very strong Bluetooth performance with no problems. I picked up the new BeatsX earphones and am enjoying this combo. Screen is really good and the phone is very fast at pretty much everything.

I just sold my old phone (a 6 Plus) and am very glad I made the move. Definitely worth the upgrade. Even with the new iPhone 8/X/whatever coming out later this year, I realistically wouldn't upgrade until next year anyway as I don't like first run models of anything and usually wait a few months after launch to purchase.

Just hopped on the 7 plus from a 6s plus so far it's been pretty great. Better performance all around.

My only issue, if I were trying to find one, would be the lack of a headphone jack. This is only an issue on the rare occasions I'd watch video in bed before I go to sleep where I usually plug my phone in to charge. I can no longer plug my headphones in and charge at the same time. If I use blue tooth headphones then I'm killing the battery for my Bluetooth headphones.

Oh well

I'm interested in those but most of the reviews are pretty bad. The belkin seems to be the only one that provided full functionality and still requires an additional heapdhone jack to lightning cable adapter to plug into the belkin dongle and it's expensive lol.

Might actually look for a cheap bedside only set of bluetooth ear buds.

Anyone still using a 6+ right now...you have my SYMPATHY.

:D
If we hadn't ported to T-Mobile that would be me. Despite the fugliness, it was a nice phone. I liked it.

Of course, I don't stream or play games so I didn't have the same levels of difficulty that most people did with it.

Where u getting the bad reviews from? This thing works perfect and it was only $3.99. Ive bought 2 of them and no issues to complain about. Amazon shows 4+ star reviews

Although I can say the lighting connector plugged to the adapter is a little loose but it's not a big deal. It's perfect & not expensive

Except those don't work for calls or Siri, nor do they support microphones in headphones or any headphone controls at all (and that's putting any quality inconsistencies aside when it comes to cheaper adapters like that).

Yup, the pricier Belkin adapter that splits the lightning port into two essentially is the only one that does it properly as far as being able to charge the phone and use headphones at the same time with the headphones working the same way that they would if they were directly connected to the phone's lightning port.

Honestly this might work for my specific use case where I'm about to go to bed.

Just joking... I careless about the things u mentioned the adapter doesn't do. Again, I'm only joking on calling u spoiled
I see. Well, yes, if you only want to basically listen to music or audio (on its own or as part of a video) and also don't care about being able to easily control the volume using the headphones, or being able to pause/play or skip forward or back, then an adapter like that would likely work. But it's by far not an equivalent of the headphone jack that was built into the iPhones prior to iPhone 7 given that many people use headphones to make/receive calls, as well as to control volume and other controls, and that adapter doesn't support that.

I really don't remember seeing any of these with a 4 star rating.

Congratulations :) hope it don't disappoint you in any way. I think now its time that I make this move too. still on iPhone 5s, was saving money for 7, but now I am confused between 7 and 7 plus.
