Very strong Bluetooth performance with no problems. I picked up the new BeatsX earphones and am enjoying this combo. Screen is really good and the phone is very fast at pretty much everything.

I just sold my old phone (a 6 Plus) and am very glad I made the move. Definitely worth the upgrade. Even with the new iPhone 8/X/whatever coming out later this year, I realistically wouldn't upgrade until next year anyway as I don't like first run models of anything and usually wait a few months after launch to purchase.

I sold my iPhone 6s Plus as well, but what ios are you on? My Bluetooth wont connect to anything other than my watch. I think this is common in iOS 10.2.1 though.

I guess that's basically equivalent of just using Bluetooth headphones (the adapter just provides a Bluetooth connector for wired headphones).

To be fair, 3 reviews hardly tell a story. It's certainly something, but basically not that much to go by. All these adapters are basically the same essentially just different resellers selling some that are exactly the same and others that just have slightly different branding/color/etc. But, as long as they actually work and the end-user only needs basic audio output (without support for calls, Siri, microphone, controls, etc.) then they generally do the trick, especially given the cheaper price of many of them.

yeah except it's one less thing to carry I guess as opposed to the belkin version where you'd still need a headphone jack to lightning adapter then plug that into the belkin dongle.

If I run into additional use cases where I need that I might bite.

Adding to wish list....

Realistically you might be just better off with a standalone Bluetooth connector into which you can plug in wired headphones and that's it--that way the lightning port on the phone would be free to plug a charger into it and the wired headphones would just be connected to a small Bluetooth connector that isn't really attached to anything (so you aren't really even limited to being essentially attached to the phone). Something like https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Receiver-Streambot-Hands-free/dp/B00MJMV0GU/ or https://www.amazon.com/Jumbl-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Streaming-Receiver/dp/B00UUDZO9E/

I see your point but I think if I'm going to carry around an extra dongle that also needs to be charged to work than I'd probably just buy a set of bluetooth earbuds.

Otherwise...

I'm running 10.2.1. Have you tried a network settings reset? Bluetooth works perfectly on mine. I've got it paired to my truck, watch, JBL speaker, and BeatsX earphones.

Congratulations :) hope it don't disappoint you in any way. I think now its time that I make this move too. still on iPhone 5s, was saving money for 7, but now I am confused between 7 and 7 plus.
Go the 7 Plus. The screan is gorgeous and battery life to die for, or actually not to die for. Took me 2 weeks to get used to Plus size. Never go back.

Get the plus. I had the same reservations. But it makes a big difference. More real estate (screen)

Still on my 6plus with no problems no issues. Been the best iPhone so far for me. Don't have all the problems everyone always complains about with 6+. It just works as it should.

If you are fine, then no worries.

But many were not happy with their 6+.

I guess I can try this tomorrow but I'm so lazy lol that means I have to set up my wifi networks again. Will give it a shot, thanks bud.

I can now connect to my receiver, but my car is a no go. I'll wait a few weeks until Apple releases 10.3

I had trouble connecting to my truck (Ford Sync) a few weeks ago after an iOS update. I had to forget the device on the truck's interface and then re-pair the iPhone. After that it worked fine again. You might want to try that and see if it helps.

its not even recognizing it - it sucks. I reset all of my network settings. Hopefully 10.3 fixes my issues.
