I know this is a sensitive issue, but when a paper like the Daily Mail runs a story, its news.

Apple founder Steve Jobs has lost an alarming amount of weight and is reportedly in his final days.
The computer genius behind the iPod, iPhone and iPad is stricken with pancreatic cancer and may have just six weeks to live.
Shocking new photos show Mr Jobs looking painfully frail and weak, with his jeans and dark top hanging loosely on his 6ft 2in, rail-thin body.

I read in the National Enquirer while standing in line at the Safeway that Obama is gay and had an affair with Colin Powell.

Now everyone's freaking out over the "news" from the National Enquirer Steve Jobs dying in 6 weeks?

Are. You. ****ing. Kidding. Me?!

Un-****ing-believable.

Everything you read is true, folks.

Especially from the National Enquirer.

Eh, I don't trust the Daily Mail that much at all. They publish all sorts of BS.

Personally, for me, the most telling part is that no other newspaper seems to running with this story anywhere. Which just adds weight to the fact that it's pure BS.

As the Daily Mail would say, "If only Diana was here..." we'd all be saved!

From his posting history, I get the impression that the OP will respond with some degree of restrained celebration when Steve Jobs buys the farm.

Especially when you write it - that image is in no way related to the National Enquirer. You're worse than you even claim them to be!

I suspect the fact that the NE focusses on celebrity gossip and slanderous private-life reputation-destroying stories has people confusing 'sleaze' with 'fantasy'. If the NE went after politicians and corrupt govt or even corporate officials with equal gusto, like the mainstream media used to before they sold out, they'd be hailed as one of the nation's leading lights of the free press and truth.

This here is a more genuine example of the sort of absolute total BS lies the National Enquirer runs with, otherwise known as 'the facts':

Lost in Space

Remember when the tabloids would feature pictures of outer-space creatures in congress?

How could we have known the stories were true?
