Apparently the newer versions of Photoshop have a similar feature, which I envy as a CS6 user. Pleasantly surprised to see it built into the iPhone!
Pixelmator Pro has it also.Apparently the newer versions of Photoshop have a similar feature, which I envy as a CS6 user. Pleasantly surprised to see it built into the iPhone!
Works on mine... and my iPad Air 3.Do you think it would work with my 12 Pro ?
Works on iPhone, Mac and iPad - although probably only more recent models of each, I can't find a definitive list of supported devices. So if an iPhone without m1 can do it why not an iPad too ?
Maybe I misread , if so , apologies…
Does this not happen with all tech advances. And that's why I find it a little bit terrifying Mike. We've gone from hours for a skilled professional to a couple of clicks by a complete idiot.
At some point, [regardless if your being facetious or not], I do see Apple integrating the M processor in place of the ‘A series. Although, the iPhone isn’t anywhere ready for such a drastic change. So when will the iPhone Pro with an M1 be arriving?
I don't think it does - for example try pasting it into Messages, then toggle dark mode; the space where the background would be also changes. I think in some circumstances people might be seeing a white background if they've done something to turn the clip into a standalone image using a format like jpeg that doesn't support transparency. I don't use WhatsApp, but does it support transparency with other image formats like png?My problem is that it adds a white background as far as I could see. It should remove the background all together so it looks nice no matter what „background“ your chat conversation has on WhatsApp for example (blending in better) or to use them for other things. Right now you still need to do an extra step of removing the white background to really take advantage of it
So we should stop progress to artificially protect your “idiot”-job?And that's why I find it a little bit terrifying Mike. We've gone from hours for a skilled professional to a couple of clicks by a complete idiot.
YAY !! And I guess that means my iPad Pro 10.5 is not way over the hill either 😄Works on mine... and my iPad Air 3.
No not being facetious! It’s a genuine question, I think it’s a possibility. At some point, [regardless if your being facetious or not], I do see Apple integrating the M processor in place of the ‘A series. Although, the iPhone isn’t anywhere ready for such a drastic change.
You need to press a little quicker. Not a long press.
‘Pixelmator Photo’ can do that (amongst other things), and also ‘Retouch’.What app is that?
You can copy it into anything you like from what I understand. Pixelmator, Photoshop, Affinity, anything. Is there a way - or what might the workflow be - to adjust the white balance of the copied subject? I’m asking since adjusting to (better) match the white balance of the image we are pasting into would be nice. For example, could I paste the image into its own otherwise-blank image, adjust color, snd re-copy?
Oh, really? And all this time I've just been using the Quick Selection tool. (Is it the Object Selection tool they added with CC 2020? I may need to try that one out more.)Apparently the newer versions of Photoshop have a similar feature, which I envy as a CS6 user. Pleasantly surprised to see it built into the iPhone!
