Video Cutting on Mac

hi again .. sry for the doppel post, bu new thread would be stupid fr this question

I could get a very cheap Final Cut Studio 5.1 with follwing

- Final Cut Pro 5

- Motion 2

- Soundtrack Pro

- DVD Studio Pro 4.


Does this work on an intel iMac? or do i need a PPC for this, the seller on ebay told me to google for it ... but somehow i just get pages that dont tell me what i need to know or are for Perfect cut studio 2:(

is it worth to buy it and then update it (atm this would be a bargain) or just save till i have the money for the new version .. or will the express version suffice (latter one too is more expensive than this one atm)
