Wow, tons of iPod rumors today! 😀 8 GB and 10 GB iPod nanos would be great. Of course this would probably mean Apple would introduce larger capacity shuffles to fill in the gap?

I love it when people start flaming on bad spellers. I don't care if you spell poorly, as long as you spend richly at the Apple Store.
~Shard~ said:...In the interim though, hopefully Apple will at least give us a price drop and/or a capacity increase to the line. That should tide us over until these touch screen bad boys are ready to ship. 😎
boncellis said:Or maybe Apple should just keep the 5G around and introduce the new potentially touchscreen iPods as the high end model. I don't know how the sales would be, maybe it's not viable to keep both of them around.
miketcool said:I mean, if your going touch sensitive, might is well go all the way and work on a resurrected newton right?
~Shard~ said:Further to my point though, if there are indeed complications surrounding these touch screen iPods, I wouldn't want Apple to release them at all, whether it's as the high end model or not. If they are not ready, they are not ready, and Apple needs to ensure QC on such an important product or else they will get slaughtered for it later, by both the markets and the consumer. 😎
crees! said:Not that it's bad spelling, but there is a HUGE difference between the word DEFINITE and DEFIANT.
jouster said:Well, I'd say keep going with the thing that's making you a huge pile of money. It seems to be selling pretty well without PDA features, after all.

My 3G is getting on a bit now - esepcially when I compare it to my brother's 5G 🙄
Whatever top range iPod model Apple decides to release next, I'm getting!

Diatribe said:I second that. I've been waiting to replace my 4G iPod but not before they go 80GB. I'm sure there are quite a few people who think that way.
sam10685 said:well, i think we all know what this means. nothing.
sartinsauce said:Also, what on earth do you people need with an 80GB iPod?
Lots of movies or years of music?
