I don't understand why Americans everyone are is stupid enough to make a fuss about a youtube video of a guy receiving an iPhone, and more importantly turn the whole thing into a question of social epithets of middle American people, when it was originally posted just to show that the first Verizon iPhone has been received and opened.

I guess I would care if I didn't already have iphones for the past 3.5 years and had great reception where I live.

Umm...

Excuse my skepticism, but I don't ever recall Apple shipping anything loose in a box. When I got any of my iPhones they were fastened down with clear plastic that I had to cut.

Evansville, Indiana! That's the nearest city to me (about an hour) and believe it or not where I come from practically everyone carries pocketknives ... but again I'm an hour SOUTH of Evansville. Good 'ole kentucky rednecks.

Mean while, the gentlemen who was kind enough to post this video to this site is now crying himself to sleep . Hahaha, this is hilarious, keep em coming...

I'm a 25 year old small business owner. I dont wear suspenders or talk with a southern accent. I wear fossil watches and John ROAR clothing. I live in Kentucky, and own a knife and gun.

And if anyone ever breaks in my home, I will use those and any other means necessary to keep them from reaching my family. Period.

Owning weapons does not equal redneck in my opinion.

The box said Fort Worth. Guy is luckiest man alive with a new iPhone, picked up right next to where MGM filmed the final city scene for the 1976 movie Logan's Run. The movie had an evil mainframe called the thinker.

They don't know how to activate it
They don't know that it's not really a new product
They don't know how to use a simple camcorder
OK, maybe not rednecks, but some annoying shut-ins in Wisconsin or somewhere no one has ever heard of?

This begs the question: Why do you care? Why does anyone care? It's not like the guy went to MacRumors and told them he wanted his video posted here. So what if they guy has a country accent? So what if he carries around a pocket knife? Lots of people carry pocket knives around. Jesus, people will bitch about anything.
