Be careful doing that on a Mac. It's also used by the Conmub.pelelion.entrapment service when in uPnP/802.1q mode.

You can get around that by rerouting the subnet packets to the Ethernet firewall socket layer.

Movist has a very Mac-like feel - so many hidden nice touches VLC lacks. Needless to say I use both. VLC for DVD playback and Movist for all the rest - Flash, avi, divix, realplayer.
