I get jealous every time my brother sends me a pic from his galaxy. I really like apple but Samsung got them beat with camera zoom.

You're partially right about Apple , the reason I didn't upgrade my 13pro, was because the differences were just not that big, however before you start believing a load of fake reviews on the S23u, I suggest you watch the blind photo comparison between 14 Pro, S23u & Pixel 7Pro, done recently by Maxtech on you tube 😊
The problem with max tech, being an apple channel, is that they are massive apple fanboys. They can manipulate the photos to their liking. Thats why you have to take their blind tests with a grain of salt. The s23 ultra for me did come first, pixel second and last iPhone. They somehow chose the iPhone...

I think everyone just needs to accept that Samsung NAILED the s23 ultra. Getting rid of the Exynos chip was the right move as well. Apple will really have to up their game now with the iPhone 15 since the only advantage they had (smoothness, battery life) just got bested/matched.

damn thats tight you just joined right now to post this.

haha for sure. S23, S23+ and S23U are all solid smartphones!
So is the iPhone! And I'm sure the iPhone 15pro max will be a beast. This is good for all of us. Competition is always good. I'm excited to see what Apple will bring with the iPhone 15. I've always told my wife. The day apple gives me little more freedom with the homescreen customization, a super zoom, access to emulators, is the day I might switch to an iPhone.

They added an always on display, 120hz so it's getting there!

For me the Samsung is an ugly square brick, much like most Androids, as to the photos, it's all a personal preference, the reality is none are perfect, some are better on the iPhone & some better on the Samsung, the same can be said about Google Pixel.
S23 Ultra is better than the S22 and a good phone for an Android, but buyers need to beware of unscrupulous reviewers bigging it up above the iPhone and also remember in 6 months, they'll be a brand new iPhone 🤣
I'm looking at a 13 ProMax, S23 Ultra, 1+ 10Pro side by side and they pretty much look just about identical.

So they are all bricks?

MaxTech is an unabashed Apple fan-boy. I'll wait till one comes out from Marques or someone a bit more unbiased.

Using an S23U and it blows the 13PM away inmost pics. Especially zoom.
Both could use some software updates.

They did say that it is all a matter of personal preference. To one person it is a brick, to another, a work of art.
I've always used everything. I find iOS to be way more polished. Used to be WAYYYYY more, now it's just way more. lol

I tried both the Ultra and S23(+) in store. I’m disgusted by their design. S23(+) felt like holding a phone with sharp edges, literally. Very uncomfortable in hand. Not to mention the Ultra felt like a gigantic brick with flat edges. You can literally use it to build your roof.

I just could not ever buy a camera without rounded corners. Apple always seems to calculate the perfect amount of round -- allowing the device to slip into the pocket and feel good in my hand. The device simply feels more personal, more natural, less clunky, less techy.
I do agree, and I like to more organic shape of a rounded corner,
However (and this is simply a personal taste viewpoint) for me, Apple has gone a little too far now with the rounded corner concept, and I'd like to see them back off a bit.

Some people never happy. We all have the right or on opinion you don’t have to all think the same if you’re not happy fine but don’t complain about us not being here because we all have our own opinions. Like it or not
Did I complain that u like it? LOL I did not. You do you. If u r fine with it, great? It’s a forum … what is the point of mentioning the stuff that one likes, those would lead nowhere and to no discussions which is the point of a forum?

Really don't like when I agree so much with a review but here I am with the same sentiments and with an iPhone now (after leaving the iPhone years ago for a Samsung Galaxy phone in up) and loving the ecosystem.

Btw, I do some photo editing and found in general, both can produce great images but more often than not, I was able to dig a bit more in Samsung files. That washed out or flat look often contained more data to work with.

Wtf.. iphones are heavy bricks uncomfortable to hold for longer time, s23 line is much easier to hold as these phones are not that heavy. And ultra looks quite nice, i must admit

no, but others seem to think everyone has to think the same about this issue. I am not saying you are wrong, all I said about was my opinion (others feel I was wrong in expressing myself what I did.)
