The reason is that when moderators send you "Reminders" (and of course their messages are locked from replies because they don't want to actually help you or hear that you just wanted help), they refer you to this page:


On that page (see #7) this topic is linked as justification of why you shouldn't bump.

It's a private company and not a public place.

I am thankful they do not give me an option to reply or else I'd have been banned for giving them a piece of my mind.

But then again I get triggered by people with mental health problems that think the world's out to get them and I am part of that Illuminati.

If I own a private bakery, and my Pumpernickel is crap, and I want to sell more Pumpernickel, then that REQUIRES that people tell me that my Pumpernickel is too dry or whatever.

they'll adjust if the userbase metrics slides down to a photography forum.

if not then they'll stick to what works for them.
