Apple Vision Pro launches in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the U.K. on Friday, July 12, and you will be able to try out the spatial computer at your local Apple Store in those countries starting on the same day next month.

Starting on Friday, July 12 at 8 a.m. local time, until the end of the day on Sunday, July 14, Apple Stores in the five aforementioned countries will allow customers to receive a Vision Pro demo on a first-come, first-served basis. As happened in the U.S., demos will likely shift to an appointment basis starting on the following Monday.

Given that the Vision Pro costs thousands of dollars, the 30-minute demo provides customers with a free way to experience spatial computing without having to spend a fortune. During the demo, customers will learn how to navigate the visionOS operating system, and explore built-in apps such as Apple TV, Photos, and Safari.

Vision Pro will be available to pre-order in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the U.K. starting Friday, June 28 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time. The spatial computer is also launching in China, Japan, and Singapore, with pre-orders starting on Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time in those countries, ahead of a June 28 launch.

visionOS 1.2 adds support for languages in these additional countries and regions, and visionOS 2 with a range of new features will be available later this year.

Vision Pro first launched in the U.S. in early February.

No info on pricing. Will it be as much as the Vision Pro in China at 29,999 yuan ($4,190)?

Cut the price Apple! Take the loss and allow wider spread adoption. Developers need a bigger user-base to justify development. You did this with the 1st generation iPhone less than a year in.

Slowly but surely Vision Pro is building a customer base and as word continues to get out about the benefits of owning one sales will compound. I wonder if now all Top 100 fortune companies are using them up from the more than half Tim said during the earnings call?

God no! Lol. The AVP isn’t ready for 10+ million users yet. There are only a little over 2,000 native apps and a lot of the stock Apple apps aren’t updated. visionOS still needs basic features added to it. Leave it to enthusiasts for right now to straighten out the bugs and prepare Apple for a more commercial ready headset.

Also, it’s a risk developers will have to take. Most are aware that a AVP 2 and/or cheaper AV headset is coming in the next couple of years.

being from the uk I tried it in Florida when I was on holiday, loved it but not worth £3500 no chance, I think I didnt like was the small fov but did love it just wish it was 2000 max

I wonder why it is much cheaper in Japan (¥600,000 which is ~£3,000) than UK (£3500)? Surely weak yen doesn't warrant a 15% price difference? You could go to Japan and buy it tax free as well as a visitor for 10% less so ~£2700 (¥540,000) which is even cheaper than in the US!

I have a Vision Pro and would like more apps. It needs a far bigger user base. Cutting the price is the way to do it. I don't care that I'd have pay more, I just want more apps and more ways to use it!

There wa supposed to be a guy in a red shirt in the photo accompanying the article, but he had a fatal accident just before they took the picture.

I like any new tech and I want to try it but can’t see myself keeping it. However this is the first stage of what the future will be just not in this form.

The media content I’m sure will be awesome to use and try.

Once Apple releases a 2nd gen where it’s around 1600-2K I’m sure this will sell well for the price point

I’m looking forward. I've already warned at work that I'll probably need a couple of hours off on Friday 12th July.

You don't think this thing is going to sell out in these other countries?

The iPhone Price was cut in a few months cus i paid full price and actually got my money back cus it was within 30 days lol. Apple didn’t have quite the power it has now though. They wont price cut this til new models. They’re gonna have to add controllers too to make it commercial

3500 USD is 4,802.32 Canadian dollars. Guess they wanted a pretty number so they rounded up by $200...
