voicemail from 1970!!!!!!

Still can't delete 1970's voicemail
I am also getting visual voicemail from 01/01/1970 (currently have two) that can be deleted, but then pop back moments later. The voicemails are real and were left in early December last year (2008) and can be played.. I am also in UK so it is O2, not AT&T. Dialing into voicemail confirms no messages there or saved, and so O2 say everything is cleared at their end it is an 'iphone software issue'. Lots of explanations about corrupt headers and counting seconds since 1970, but has anyone actually managed to delete the messages yet ?? tks in advance..
