Bought it, errored on install. Went back into Cydia, no longer there. Now Cydia just crashes on me :(

A fix for the Cydia issue: delete everything that starts with apt.bigboss in /private/var/lib/apt/lists.

installs fine after that :D

its back now but won't install i'm getting size mismatch error :(

Same here.

Ninja edit: After a few restarts of the springboard, seemed to install fine!

Just one respring needed here, but yeah - same thing.

Although I've found that I still can't dl >10MB from the App Store. It says 'loading' and doesn't pop up the error message, but nothing actually happens ...

I've just installed the 3G Unrestrictor and tested it with the Appstore version of MyBrute (as it's over 10megs) and was able to start the download.

Only thing is, the download process bar never started on the icon. After leaving it for about 10mins I rebooted as I wasn't able to install the game. Now I'm stuck looking at a plain gray icon with a download status bar showing nothing.

I can't seem to delete this icon off the springboard. Holding it down does not show the "x" and the AppStore says it's installed.
In /var/mobile/Media/Downloads/ ; I see what I believe is the file trying to download. Sitting at 0KB though. (tried deleting this file but it keeps coming back)

Anyone have a solution to get this deleted so that I can try to re-download it?

Edit: Why do I always solve things 5secs after I question it. Deleted the manifest.plist that was in that dir that refered to MyBrute and now it's gone lol

I just re-enabled wifi and it completed the download. I guess the App Store/iTunes tricking needs a little more work. ;)

Thanks :) I'm glad that'll do the trick but unable to test since I don't have wifi at work. I'm sure we'll expect an update for it soon enough. At least youtube works great =]

Yup, I'm sure he'll try to figure out what the problem is soon enough. In the meantime, everything else seems to work, including (as you mentioned) YouTube ...

YouTube HQ over 3g the best thing ever! ;)

I'm so happy now. Worth the $2!

Indeed. I would have paid for that, alone. :D

I guess I'm slow but how do you view HQ on Youtube?

It's not actually "HQ" but YouTube over wifi is much better than over 3G. Unless you use 3G Unrestrictor, that is. ;)

ok. I thought I was missing something. I downloaded Mxtube which shows the HQ options.

Works great now. I'll update the first post in this thread now ... Thanks!

So have a few of you had success with SlingPlayer over 3G now with this?

Thank you, thank you, thank you...that was $2 well spent. I now feel great about my decision to upgrade to the 3Gs. Slingplayer and Skype over 3G are working great, and the new interface is fantastic. Thanks CrashX for a fantastic solution to AT&T BS...

is this a lot easier to use, or does every app set to work over 3G automatically??

You have to choose which apps will ne tricked, but it's extremely easy to do so. It shows a list of all your apps and you just tap the ones you want to trick. That's it.
