iPhone X VoLTE calls

On my X i notice that the 4G icon switch on 3G every time i have an incoming / outcoming call.

Obviuosly the VolTE service is supported by my carrier.

Tried the same on a samsung and it works like a charm.

Any idea?

Carrier support implies that a cell tower has had the appropriate upgrades to handle VoLTE. Did you try VoLTE in the same place as your X?
