Why are people answering 14 month old threads? Just wondering if the people from a year ago are still on here looking for answers.

Because I was bored? I've read 10-year-old threads dredged up with nary a thought. I picked this one because I could. So, bye.

More relevant, I was responding to another thread that was started last Friday, and somehow my post ended up in this older thread - no idea how that happened. iOS 9 didn't exist back then. See pic...

Eh you never know. Sometimes its better than starting an entirely new thread to bitch about. Sometimes you just need that MacRumors release 😀 😀 ;D

That's way weird. That might explain a number of multi year threads all of a sudden popping up. As your response isn't the only one.

Perhaps the moderators are throwing in old threads as not enough new ones are being started. It's the slow side of the iPhone cycle.

I've noticed this lately as well. It might be something to do with the latest forum configuration / update. I see old threads under "similar threads" just below where I post or where the last post was all the time. A handful of others have fallen into this trap so to speak. HEK, are you on mobile or on a Mac/PC? That might explain why you might not see the similar threads part.

I see the similar threads section at bottom. Don't usually pay much attention to it as in past I noticed most were aged threads. But that may be the source, as most are over a year old for last response.
