I have the iskin solo case (Carbon) as well as the Steinheil Ultra crystal screen protector. Love the combo, very conservative and minimalist looking and lots of protection.
 
Yes, but honestly it's for scratch prevention and grip. I don't have a significant antenna attenuation issue, so it's not really for that (though I do think AT&T sucks, but that's entirely unrelated).
 
iPhone 4 case

I use the black bumper. I actually prefer the bumper to naked. It always feels like its too slippery when its naked. The bumper still lets you feel the glass - and how thin the phone is, but it stays put where I put it and is easier to hold on to. Had mine since the original release day and have no nicks or scratches to date. I've even dropped it on the floor and ground pretty hard a couple of times with the bumper on and no damage to the phone. Now I'll probably shatter it for saying so.
 
Yes, I do. I put cases on all my phones! They're definitely there for protection!
 
Had a bumper.. hated it.

Now nothing... and scratches all over the back of it. Oh well. Still better than with a case.
 
Tried three different cases, including Apple bumper, all of them I felt 'cheapened' both the look and the feel. Now I have the Element vapor along with SGP carbon skin, this is unquestionably the winning combo.
 
I work in a factory, everyday I had to take off my Case to clean it. I got tired of does this and after a week leaving it on there was minor scratches on BlackBerry 9700, which I sold for 4.

I figured what's the point and went with a Pouch instead for my 32GB 4.

This is why I sold my Apple Black Bumper, not only I didn't like it, I didn't want to deal with taking it off.

Besides, I love the Look/Feel of her naked. :twisted:
 
I use the free incase snap case in "smoke" I just from apple for free. Best case I've ever used hands down. Perfect fit. Looks great, nice texture to it also. Not much room for dust to get around it at all. Can't ask for anything more really.
 
Yes. I didn't use a protective case and it had a lot of scratches and ings on my valualbe phone. That is a painful lesson and then i got dots design silicone skin case for iPhone 4 which fits my device well and I really love it.
 
Like to bring the thread back to life. Any updates from anyone? Anyone with a case now ditch for naked iPhone?
 
I had been going caseless, but then noticed that I was scratching my camera lens. So I am using a case to lift the lens off the table.

...thats exactly my scenario!!

Since day 1 of having my iPhone 4, I've always used a case - from Switcheasy Rebels to Otterbox Commuters to SGP Neos and to PDair pouches!!! Quite a collection.....:rolleyes:

I kinda go through these weird phases - sometimes, I'll have my phone in a case for over 2 months, quite happy that its protecting the phone and at the same time, looks good and different to other iPhone 4 that I've seen around.

And then - I'll go through my other phase where I'm just not happy with the look and feel of a case and I find myself switching cases 4 or 5 times a week!?!?!?:confused:

Well - the last 2 weeks, I stuffed all my cases away and have been going 'naked'!! Only thing I have now is a carbon backing on the rear of my phone.

I can safely say that I am now loving the slim feel and look of my iPhone 4. Its a thing of beauty - why cover it up with a case!!!!

...yes - there is more chance of damage if I drop it but to be honest, I have only ever dropped my phone once and I'm quite a careful person!!!

I think I will be going naked now too maybe a full skin. Just like steve said during the iPad 2 launch apple works hard making a beautiful design why cover it up
 
Naked!

I sometimes "want" to use a case. I have even bought several different kind, from bumpers to ones that provide more coverage. But in the end, I like the look & design of the phone to much to cover it up. ;)

I do use clear screen protectors on both the front and back though. :p
 
I voted yes, but I switch between using a case (preferably a slim TPU one) and naked with just front/back screen protectors and vinyl sides.
 
Case and Power Support Crystal screen protector from day ONE. I paid way too much for this phone, I'd be upset if I dropped or scratched it.

I'm going to sell my IP4 whenever the new model comes out so I like it have it in the best condition possible
 
I use mine naked because it's slim and beautiful. But i also use it naked because I like to use the digital av adapter with it to stream Netflix, as well as I love to dock it and also like to use my av cable in my car to play music. None of these things can be done with a case on the phone. Yes I do take advantage of the things that can be done with an iPhone.
