Apps VUDU Officially Announced for Apple TV

Wow - with this and Amazon Prime Video that seems to fulfil most US requests. Now all we need is ITV, 4OD, Five and UKTV for the UK (and ideally a decent UV provider for the UK market - not that one exists)
 
I'm glad this is US only, it makes me feel better about totally giving up on UV and committing to iTunes :D
 
Been using both of those for years on Roku. I wonder how Vudu will handle 4K and 3D content since Apple's box can't do that? In app purchases?

You prob can't purchase anything on the apple tv app like on the ios app.
 
Any confirmation if this will be a new stock app for Apple the 3 or a downloaded app for the current Apple TV 4?
 
The Vudu app is now available for the ATV4. If you can't find it in the store, check out your "Purchased" section (assuming you already have the iOS version).

Kewl. I just read the Variety article saying the date was going to slip. Looks like it’s early. ;)
 
Streaming is good. I still think Netflix looks the best. No way to call up chapters in a movie is frustrating. Otherwise very smooth.
