mine is 10/7. fingers crossed for some type of movement within the next week. if not I plan on going to a store next Friday and canceling my pre order.

I'm interested to find out if there is a supply shortage of the 6+ or the demand is just huge.
I'm guessing there is a supply shortage because I honestly didn't expect the 6+ to outsell the 6.

My confirmation email says 9/19 but the Order Status page on Verizons site say 10/7.. Which is correct??

I came on here to ask the same question. I ordered this exact same model. Didn't want to order from Verizon but did because it was the only place I could get an order through just after 3 a.m. What the hell is going on with this crap?
Hopefully they just blanketed the dates until they get all the orders sorted out to make a more accurate determination (crosses fingers)
I ordered (1) 64GB iPhone 6 Space Gray at 3:00am EDT and (1) 64GB Silver iPhone6 at 6:45am EDT. Both are showing 9/19 delivery dates.
I saw on another post that someone was able to get a confirmation email that stated the free 1GB data upgrade special they are running with the more everything plan. This is the reason I upgraded today, but I did not get such a notification on my confirmation email... Anyone else?

I'm in this boat as well. Ordered two 128GB 6+'s just before 3 AM without a single issue. It said 9/19 the whole time, and I received my email confirmation at exactly 4 AM saying the same date. I look on the order status page and it's showing 10/7.
There is hope, however. I can't recall the exact details, but something very similar to this happened when preordering the iPhone 5 from Verizon. A lot of people (including me) saw their dates slip, only for them to go back to launch day a few days later. So hang in there. I think as long as your email confirmation says 9/19 and you got your order in by maybe 3:15 eastern, you have a good shot at getting your order on launch day. Hope this helps.

Wow...it seems the 6 may have had more stock than the 6+
I'm seeing a trend on the forum where it looks like most of the 6+'s are showing later dates. There were rumors of production delays with the 6+ and this might be the result of that.

If you go on Apple's site you can still get any flavor of the 6 you want for delivery on 9/19. Every 6+ is 3-4 weeks. Probably a similar situation at the carriers as well. The 6+ is probably more popular and produced in lower volume.
Either Apple does this intentionally or they're consistently doing a poor job of predicting demand. Last year they produced a zillion 5C's and no one wanted them, and not enough 5S's to keep up with demand.

Weird mine was around that time and my delivery date says the 19th. I ordered the silver 64 gb plus.
mine too. But my damn corporate discount didn't work, so I'm only half satisfied till I get that sorted out.
iPhone 6+ 16gb space grey ordered nearly immediately when Verizon's site was up at 3:01ET. Confirmed via email 3:38am.

When I put the preorder number into the order status checking tool, it says ship by 10/14.
Hope the dates get moved up a bit as Verizon learns more about their supplies. Poor form to report 10/14 as both the deliver by date and the ship date, however.

I'm eligible for a corp discount too but I'll get that sorted out later.
FYI - Someone in a different thread said that Verizon told them that they can't get the +1GB freebie a month with a corp discount. Dunno how accurate that is.

When I use the preorder status tool, it says it's still processing and doesn't give a date. I'm switching my # from AT&T so maybe that delays the processing.
