Anyone know what the terms and conditions are for cancelling Verizon total care? I added it when I ordered the phone, but would rather Apple Care, for which I'd be eligible.
 
Ordered a silver 16GB 6 Plus at about 7:30am EST on 9/12. Order number is in the 148xxx, location is D772001. Original ship date was 10/14, which was moved up to 10/10. Credit card was charged tonight and my status went to "Your order has been sent for processing" and my ship date disappeared.


Mine says the same. And I ordered a hour after you.
 
Can anyone verify if you have to be there for delivery or leave a signed form for fedex/ups at the door?
 
Ordered a Silver 6+ 128GB on 9/12. I had the ECDP error, and then got incorrect advice (from a VZW online chat) to order as a new customer. (That order was put on hold, and later canceled.) I finally placed an order over the phone at 4:48 AM EDT -- confirmation email arrived 5:33 AM. On the phone, and in email, my delivery date was 10/14 -- then unavailable, then back to 10/14, then 10/10, where it sits now. I have location code X08890, order number 390xxx. So far, no movement -- just crickets. :(

"Your order has been sent for processing." -- YES!!

Got FedEx tracking number. (Actually, I found it by tracking on the FedEx reference number, which is a combination of location code and order number.) Estimated delivery Tuesday, 9/30 by 8 PM.

FedEx has to make one attempt. You can customize delivery with instructions on website but you can't hold at FedEx depot.

Btw, FedEx delivered my VZW Gold 128 GB iP6+ on Friday. I missed the first attempt and was ready to drive to FedEx depot to pick up. The driver was in neighborhood and made a second attempt. Thank You FedEx for going above and beyond the call of duty. :)

The iP6+ rocks! :apple:
 
Well ladies and gentleman,
I got fed up with waiting on Verizon and went to my Apple store today to try my luck again picking up a 6 plus, of course they said they had none, as I walked out I noticed a giant Fed Ex truck pull up:eek:

I ran back into the store and hopped in line only about 5 people ahead of me,
and guess that Fed Ex truck had a shipment of phones on it because I walked out with a Space Grey 6 plus 128GB !!!!!:eek::eek::eek::cool::cool::cool::)

I'm so happy I followed my instinct and went back in, anyways cancelled my pre order now I'm setting up my new shiny phone. Thanks to everyone who responded to my posts and gave me advice and ideas and just friendly banter.
I will definitely be using this forum still for other Apple related chat, hope to see you guys in the forums again and good luck in getting your phones early and I wish you all the best! Take care,

I did the same as you and I am going to cancel total care also the day I purchase Apple care , but you can cancel total care any time , they just drop it , no penalties.

Expected delivery at the time of both orders said 10/7. I got an email at 6AM this morning that said both phones have shipped and will be here Monday 9/29/14. :D

Let's see some shipping for regular 6 16gb.

On one of my calls to verizon, I was told the higger gb phones and pluses were set to be fullfilled and delivered first. I guess this was an accurate statement from a verizon rep.
 
So yesterday I got my tracking information it was in PA now its in NJ and im in Ohio? Says it will be here Tuesday by 8:00
 
UPDATE: I just got my tracking no. Fedex is still showing "Not Found", so probably not picked up yet. Hopefully I'll get my package on Monday or Tuesday.

It turns out the 2 phones are getting shipped separately, coming from 2 locations. The 64GB+ Gold is arriving at my work on Mon-Sep 29, shipped from PA to NJ. The 64GB Gold is shipping from TN, and it looks like it will arrive in NJ on Tuesday. Excited!!!

That gives a bit of hope mine will come early. Same phone, ordered from VZW 9/19 after my Best Buy didn't get any in on launch day. My expected delivery date is 10/31 (!!!) but I'm hoping for a couple weeks earlier.

I am thinking it may be by color. I haven't seen many silvers shipped yet.
One verizon rep old me the larger gb phones would be fullfilled first.

You can drop Verizon Total Care right from your online MyVerizon page. Easy peasy.

Ordered 64GB gray 6+ 6 AM on 9/12. 10/10 --> 10/3 shipment date.
Receipt in my account, dated 9/25.

Iconic shows the following since early yesterday morning:

Order Status: Your order has been sent for processing.


Is there anywhere else I should look for order updates or tracking information? I've gathered Iconic is the best resource.

I would check around. Best Buy, Walmart, Target. Depending on where you live, the 6s are easier to find elsewhere. The 6+ is in short supply hence the preference, I think.

I got my shipping notification yesterday! I'm away for the weekend but luckily (luck is the residue of good planning) I'm having it shipped to my local Verizon Store. The store will call me when it's there and I can go in for activation. It's coming with a new SIM card installed. I didn't ask for a new SIM card but perhaps I failed to un-check a box on my original order. Dunno. I called Verizon to change my original order from a 6+ to a regular 6 so there's no telling what the rep on the phone did. Anywho, it's on its way!!
 
If you click on the website button(Blue box)and fill in the info you'll get this(2nd Pic) If you click on the store (Red box) you'll get the one with a blank tracking #(at least for me)


Same here. But now, when I click on the website link, I get the same screen that you show for the store link. That is new. Whether it is meaningful is another question.

Unforutnately, I can't cancel or I will loose 200.00 gift card promotion through comcast. I did use the device checker just to see, and I didn't see any in my area anyhow.

My order shipped. I didn't get an email yet, but the tracking number shows up if I check Iconic/my account. Mine shipped from Tennessee, should be here on Tuesday.

You can check if your order shipped by tracking by reference number. Format is (Location code)_00(7 digit order number). If your order number is shorter than 7 digits, add zeroes in front of it. Mine shows up as D771001_000XXXXXX on the Fedex website.
