When the 6 was first being rumored I was not really thinking abt upgrading.
And the bigger kicker I was not eligible either. During pre-order I was still in
both boats too. Friday, Sept 19th, I decided to just go see both phones in person. I fell in love with the 6+ and wanted the 128 in gold. I told myself
to let it go bc I at least had a 5c. The next morning (September 20th) all I could think abt was how to get out of contract. I was not able to edge. I had a bad incident that happened to me in a VZ store the month prior which is why I was in contract. I called customer service and explained the situation. They were able to look at the notes and what I paid out of pocket. I was let out of my contract within 30 minutes. I upgraded (6+ 128GB gold) that same day Saturday, September 20. Now of course I do not go to the same VZ location that wronged me

I went to another location, played with the 6+ and placed my order. I traded in one of my 5c's. The rep told me the ETA was Oct 16-18. I received the initial email but it was generic to me. It had my order number and the location code. But it had no ETA. When I went VZ's site to check the status it's just the order number and a blank white box. Today makes two weeks since I've ordered. It's the first time I've checked the status. I'll just check again in another week. I know weather plays a part in air shipping , production workers play a part and plus ground shipping.
I've been keeping myself busy deciding what case I want. I know I want the tempered glass protector.
