VZW Order Status Thread

I placed my order on 10/3 at 1pm for a Silver i6 64g, ship date given is 10/24. I got the email last week from Verizon saying I was still on target for a 10/24 ship date. I spoke with customer service this morning and they say I am still 10/24. Yes, I am crazed... Still no cc charge, still no iconic update, and I am off of work Thursday and Friday as I was hoping with fingers crossed for an early shipment. Now, I sit here just hoping it eventually gets here. I will never order a phone again. Oh ya...still no trade in docs either. :( Time for some wine, wine helps everything!! haha

I ordered the same phone SG on 10.2 with a 10.31 delivery date. No change in status since then. Also ordered a 16gb gold i6 on 10.5 with a 10.24 delivery date. That phone came last Monday. Colors and size seem to be the overriding factor.

I ordered the same model as you on the same day. No movement here either. Should be soon though.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to report that my status has changed to shipped--with a shipping number when I checked about 6A Pacific. I ordered a silver 128 6+ on 4 Oct. I really feel for those who have been waiting longer and I wish you speediness!
 
I would wager that Apple/Foxcomm severely underestimated the demand for the 6 Plus, specially the 64G SG. Those phones have been on backorder for a long time, regardless of when orders have been placed. I have a feeling, (based on what Verizon CSR are saying to us), that a whole batch of 6 Plus 64G SG were pushed through, and when they hit our supply chain in the next couple of weeks, they are going to try to catch up with all orders, at least those placed through September. This is, IMO, the reason they keep telling us that these will ship by 10/31/14, regardless of when the order was placed during September.

Still... waiting 4-6 weeks for a phone? Not good management of logistics. I already have seen friends and coworkers that have said "the heck with this", and are cancelling to order Note 4, Nexus 6, (which they are being told would be sent to them without delays), and even LG 3s. Heck, I've even a couple of S5s floating around! Not exactly new. They are willing to take a chance on the promise that Lollipop, (when it comes), will be cleaner and with less bloatware as per their sellers.
 
hey y'all, i remember someone post here a website to see which Iphone 6 or plus is in stock via best buy, at&t, etc etc. What's the website ? i can't find it

I just used one of my coworkers SIM cards for Verizon and it actually worked. Received phone call and LTE worked as well. Now I just need to figure out how to get a Verizon SIM for my phone.
 
Got my processing conformation last night at 6:00, but no tracking number yet. Hoping for something by lunch

Same boat, Iconic changed last night around 9pm CST but no tracking. I did get a notification for the order on My Verizon with a link that doesn't work. Would love to get the phone this week, but assuming it'll be monday if it doesn't move today.

Not too much longer now :)
 
Got my tracking number this morning, FedEx estimates I'll receive it by Monday. Not long now for everyone with 10/24 expected ship dates! The month long wait is finally over
 
I just talked to a Verizon CSR and they are getting ready to process my order. I'm hoping to see an iconic status change later on?;)

When I check my iconic status, there is a metric ton of additional text now. Is there any significance to that?

I was hopeful that I'd see something by tomorrow afternoon, but it's not looking that way. Either way, I'm tickled to death about having conformation that it's going through

I ordered the same phone a couple of days after you.
 
This is really frustrating. I just checked idevicechecker.com and a couple Radioshacks around the country have the exact same model I and others on here have ordered through Verizon in stock.

You'd think Verizon would take care of their for sure orders before giving stores stock...
