Apple also uses FedEx as well. We have the capability w/ our Boeing 777 jets to fly from China straight to Memphis (Intl priority overnight and bulk shipments) where our Intl economy overnight goes on an MD-11 that goes to Anchorage then either Indy, LAX, or Memphis (not sure if it strictly goes thru Memphis World Hub)...

Yes that's true. Apple makes them and ships them to Apple Distribution centers then from there they go to VZW, ATT, etc warehouses so yes you are correct in a way but that process takes a week or two or more. The Apple warehouse in Nashville is still sitting on shipments we loaded and delivered in a 52' trailer that came into our station 2-1/2 weeks ago. Why? I have no clue and makes ZERO sense!
My understanding/thinking was you were tracking the planes from China thinking your phone was on them (as in shipping w/ a tracking number)
Here is a pic on release date for Verizon of iPhone 6/6+ that came from FTW. Funny thing is we prob got a big bulk in a week/week and half earlier from Apple (China) that went to Apple Warehouse in Nashville.
After receiving the email I called the contact number listed in the email. A rep then told me to call the store I purchased from. I called them and was told my order had an error. I went to the store in person and had customer called. My order was still said to be in error. I had to place a new order and I'll have to wait all over again. My ship date was Oct 24th now I'll have my phone Nov 14.

I love the concept and design, I'm just so paranoid about the case of the iPhone 6 Plus that I don't see myself letting that much of the back exposed.
Yes! Some movement! My pre order page now says "Your order has been sent for processing" instead of "We received your order and it is in process." I can't check my iconic because I don't have my PC with me. Looks like Project Hallow is active though.

I'm pretty sure this one has changed. The expected ship date is gone too. It appears Verizon is getting ready to ship it. The other Verizon tracking site (the one they provided) says it's having technical difficulties when I enter my info.
Same thing has you and on the same day. iPhone 6 SG 64GB 10/02 est 10/31. If anything else happens I'll let you know. Both of our orders looked like they should be the next ones to ship.
yeah i have a feeling i won't see my phone until 11/7 - 11/14. ordered my 6+ 64g sg on 9/18 and not a thing has changed.
My phones (iPhone 6, Gold, 64gb + 128gb) are supposed to be shipped by Oct. 24th and I still haven't received any notice and there's no change to the "c" in iconic. Now the Verizon website has the same phones I ordered listed as backordered for Nov. 14th. I am worried I am going to be forced to wait till then. Its frustrating that I haven't received anything yet but my iconic still says expected ship date is Oct. 24th.
To make things worse the case I ordered last week that was scheduled for delivery Wednesday has been stuck since Tuesday in some USPS facility with no movement.
