VZW Order Status Thread

Well folks, it's been fun....NOT.

I had ordered 2 sg 128 6+'s on Oct 26 and last week got an email they were shoved ahead for the 2nd and last time. I went to a local Apple Store and bought them. Went by Verizon and cancelled the order.

May have been I order 2 on the same order. Mine got pushed to 11/21. The iconic date still showed 10/31 ship by date. Called VZW a few times and they honestly didn't have a clue what corporate was doing either. I have the best VZW store anywhere and they are just honest with their customers.

Looks like you are well on your way to getting yours in-hand. Enjoy it, I know you will.

Just signed into FedEx Delivery Manager and my package/tracking info is already there. Looking at a Monday delivery. Still hasn't left Verizon, label was created at 6:52 a.m.. Will be shipping from Memphis, TN.

Nope, same place and time as yours. I assumed with the lapse from iconic it was actually done late yesterday/last night. I also noticed it shows in notes weekday delivery, so the hope of a Saturday delivery is gone. Oh well, couple days won't matter now

That's Verizon for you! I've been seeing more and more this week that doesn't need a signature. They're always normally ISR. The only time it normally has a release is if there is a company name included on a residential address like this for example:

John Doe
Verizon Company
123 Main St
Anywhere, St 12345

With the company name added their system removes the ISR requirement. Hence able to release.

Well, I guess I spoke too soon...

I received a call from Verizon because they forgot to gather my CCID number from my card? Sounded kind of odd at first, but he verified the order number and purchase information. :confused:

My card has now been charged/pending and my phone should ship out today... :eek: :D

Ship Date Promised: 11/7

I was told from a the Verizon rep a few moments ago that they will require signature to a residential address.
 
Ordered 6 regular 64gb space grey on 10/12 ship by 11/7. Got an iconic B, removed iconic ship by date and error code -2 with "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not yet taken." and Expected ship date: "Not available at this time." Called and they said nothing is wrong with my order and it should ship soon. They said if there is a problem I should get a call or email. Thoughts?

I had the same thing. You are probably best waiting for the email telling you to call. I think my proactive calls might have caused more of a mess. They will probably have to cancel and reorder. I did that last night and it was shipped this morning.

Well I went to the store yesterday and canceled my pre-order. Stood outside waiting to be called in for 2 hours, then waited ran into some kind of error (possibly due to either the edge program or the new data plans VZW just rolled out) that took another 40 minutes and ultimately had to leave without the phone due to the error with VZW. So I had to leave to pickup my daughter from school and didn't get the phone :-(, but they did place it on hold for me and I am going back today to finish the process and I shouldn't have to wait in line like I did yesterday.
 
  • Ordered 11/2 Cancelled order on 11/6 to get it from the Apple store. Apple store couldn't complete early edge upgrade.
  • Reordered 11/6 over the phone this time.
  • Received tracking information 11/7, estimated arrival date of 11/10 before 10:30 AM.

Multiple iPhone

Hello all,

I was just wondering if any of you that ordered multiple phones noticed any sort of delay? I ordered 3 6+ 64GB in each color on 11/2 and my expected ship date is 11/21. I doubt that they'll get here by then but I travel on 12/11 and was wondering how much the delay might be? I tried going to my local Apple store after I noticed they received shipment but they were all gone by EOD only 16GB left.:( Thanks for any info.

Just ordered mine last night, so I have no reason to start complaining yet. lol I ordered the iP6+/64/Gold, and the espected ship date is 11/21.
 
Finally my wait is almost over. I got the wall of text on Iconic today. No tracking# yet.

Ordered 10/10
Ship date 11/7

6 SG 64 Gig and 6 Silver 64 Gig

It's been torture waiting this long :)

That is what I ordered on 10/11/2014. Having a hard time understanding how VZW fulfilled your order first before getting to earlier orders - definitely consider yourself lucky and enjoy!
