I used to do tech support when i was about 14, but i got fed up being a human Google when theres perfectly good computers in the office for that. Thats why most tech support people are "so condescending and rude about everything".
When you send like 30 warning emails telling people to back up their work, then someone comes and tells you their computer crashed and they forget to save their work to the memory stick, when the office gives them away for free is just frustrating...

Potential of search engines aside, that was still pretty damn nerdy.

I'm on Tiger on my '07 MBP, waiting for SL. I always seem to skip a version, went OS9, 10.2 (10.0 don't count!), 10.4, 10.6. The $120 just seems more worthwhile that way. Looking forward to Time Machine though, finally, that was the one feature tempting me towards 10.5.
