Wait to buy 27" iMac?

Yes i am, sometime next week -- 27" i7 : 4GB RAM : 1TB HD

I'm almost ashamed to admit that the last thing I'm torn between is the wireless keyboard and the wired numeric keyboard. I don't really understand why they didn't just make the numeric keyboard wireless since this is supposed to be a professional product and most professionals tend to utilize the numeric pad frequently.

I didn't know that. I thought the numeric was wireless, so does the mouse have a wire too? I just thought it was blue tooth since that's how they advertised it, oh well...

The mouse is wireless either way. The numeric pad keyboard option is wired.

Yes, definitely. I've had no issues with the magic mouse.

Be sure to check the Apple refurb store. They have had most of the iMac
models available with very nice discounts.

The i5 quad core I'm considering is only $1699, the i7 is $1849.

I agree, I can't stand using a keyboard without a numeric keyboard, it's so slow typing on those number keys otherwise!.

I also agree with most who say the wireless keyboard looks so small in front of the 27inch screen...

Just got the iMac today via FedEx, right on time; 5 days to my door including the custom changes!

It doesn't matter if it works, I'll never plug it in. It's a true work of art and as a centerpiece on the dining room table it stays.
