That is a good point but my iMac is getting old (it is 2005 I think) and my whole family uses it from time to time (I also have 3 other PC desktops) but I really wanted my own computer that I could take around my house. That is why I wan a MacBook. :D

i would wait tell wwdc there is a rumor of a small speed bump and by then the back to school promotion should be ready to start and get a free ipod.

Make sure you check out the refurb selection for the 2.0ghz macbook. I just picked one up, looks great.

If you look closely at the buyers guide you will see that the Macbook is overdue for an update. It should read as "Don't buy - updates soon", but it's broken. If you can wait until after WWDC, you should. I would imagine there will be an update, and maybe the rumored price drop, before then.

If I keep waiting to buy a MacBook I will never get one... Technology is always getting updated so I am just going to get it and not worry...

Then I can get a new MacBook in 3 years...:apple:
