An iPad Mini Pro might be the only thing that gets me to update from my iPad Mini 1

I'm still running my day one iPad 2. Way over due for an upgrade.

My 2009 MacBook Pro is on its last legs as well.

Im on the fence if I should invest in a new iPad or MacBook.... or wait and see what March 2017 brings.

Like I said leading up to the September event, if a new iPad was launching there would be leaks and persistent rumours by now. So far all the rumours suggest new iPads in the Spring or late Winter.

Not necessarily - not with the mini. Not sure if it's because they're able to keep a tighter lip on the supply chain or people just don;t care as much about the mini but updates come as a suprise with little to no rumors.

The Mini 4 got about as little fanfare as possible from Apple and there were still rumours about it prior to its launch. I knew that there was almost no chance of a new Mini launch at the September or October events because there was literally nothing online about it.

Not that many, and not too much prior to the event. Apple could release a new iPad next week Wednesday and we might not hear anything about it until Tuesday.

Rumours about the Mini 4 correctly stating its debut date, and (mostly) right about its specs almost a month before launch.

Something always leaks.
