I'm getting this error message too, but everyithing syncs well after atdding podcast. Not a big deal for beta for me.

I'm using Mac OS 10.6.8, iTunes 10.5 beta 2 and IOS 5 beta 2.

I was having this issue. So I decided to add one movie, apply the changes and resync. The issue is gone.

This may sound odd but I'm having the same problem on Windows 7...

I'm doing the Google Music Beta and have Music Manager running in the background. Music Manager was set to add all music from iTunes and I kept getting the "Waiting for changes to reconcile" message. When I turned off Music Manager, synchronization was quick, smooth, and no reconcile message.

Seems that if something is using the scripting interface, iTunes goes crazy?

Music Manager works fine if you just point it to your music folders, instead of using iTunes...

same problem

I have the same issue, i have itunes 10.5 and i have iphone 4 iOS 5 beta 2. and my music cannot get synced because im "waiting for changes to reconcile"

how can i solve this to get my music on my phone?

Not sure if anyone here had tried this, but it fixed my problem with it. You need to delete the old iPod Photo Cache. Here's a guide, although yours may be in a different place. All I did was delete mine, and emptied the trash and now it syncs fine.

I did this last night also...worked like a charm.

Itunes sucks

I fixed this by installing the latest and greatest version of ITUNES. Hope this helps someone.

TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS DELETE ALL THE VOICE MEMOS, FROM THE DEVICE, AND RESYNC! :apple:
