I have a 6s plus coming. I just got the iphone upgrade program and want the 6s plus before the 7, since they are changing some things I would rather wait until the 7s before upgrading until they get the bugs worked out. If they do away with the headphone port I may just keep the 6s plus a few years and decide from there.

I'd be okay sticking with my current 6 for one more year if the 7 isn't a massive overhaul. I will most likely pick up an SE in September if the 7 doesn't impress me. I just really want to upgrade :D

There's nothing in the iPhone 7 which would make me switch off my 6+. It looks like a very incremental release, a little turn of the crank here, another one someplace else. The only thing that might make me want to switch is a change in the purchase plan. I took the subsidized model when I got it, and if I can get out of that, maybe it would make sense. But from a technology viewpoint, it's not only fine right now, I can't see it getting obsoleted any time soon. Of course, Apple being Apple, who knows. Maybe I'll get a new phone in 2017 (with the iPhone Pro S+++ or whatever they call it). But not this year.

My 5s is still meeting all my needs, but I could definitely see getting a 7 if they upgrade it enough. The dual cameras and a 32MB base model would clinch an upgrade for me. Don't really care about the colour much, but likely wouldn't get the rose.

I will never be bored with my phone.

A new phone with new features will be nice. But I'll be watching the same videos, checking the same websites, taking the same picture, sending the same texts, playing the same games, making the same calls, etc. It's all about content.

If your looking to your phone to cure your boredom you will never be happy anyway.

Sticking with the 6S Plus for the foreseeable future. I have nice headphones and a penchant for space gray over whatever blue variation they come up with.

I've got a 128GB 6S Plus, and I'd say it's more than a solid device for the next couple years until there's a redesign, as well as an update to it that sorts out any bugs.
