Happy for you guys who have finally got a working machine delivered by the resellers, must have been an agonising wait.
After having the dreaded yellow tint on my i7, and reporting it within the 14 days, I asked Apple to please send me a replacement whilst I kept the original machine, and feel free to charge my credit card whilst you wait for the return of the original.
Imagine my 😱surprise😱 24 hours later when the customer service rep, after apparently checking with her manager said that not only was this not possible, but that it could be up to 4 weeks from the pickup of my original machine before the replacement arrived, but they could generously provide me with a $50 voucher for my inconvenience...
A shame Apple's much-lauded customer service has, yet again, fallen flat on is face.
Ah well, time to buy a $3k Windows box and attempt to migrate all my data off the ageing MacBook Pro (yes, i would class myself as an Apple fan) and over to Win7. 🙁
