The good thing is that this thread will be longer
We get to hang out for a few more months, lol
^ Exactly. People are really underestimating what this next upgrade will bring. And the excuses about "WELL, it has can't be very LONG! It must be in mid 2016... June at WWDC... September are just silly. Apple has updated the MacBook Pro more than yearly for 10 consecutive years. It's not unimaginable that they're going to be released sooner. Remember how people also SWORE on here that Apple would do something completely unrelated to this topic since "any argument is an argument and we don't care about facts"
2010 vintage and onwardsSomeone said that their late 2008 MBP wasn't supported by Sierra. Does anyone have a support list?
The amount of negativity in this thread is disappointing.
I think it's group hug time.
2010 vintage and onwards
Oh well.. another 3-4 months of waiting. what's 3 months when you've been waiting for 10?
Apple did it before at the Spring Forward 2015 event. Redesigned MacBooks right along side the hot new Apple Watch. The products you list are already established....an entire keynote about a thinner AW, a thinner iPad Air and a smaller iPhone can easily be rounded out by announcement of a thinner rMBP (or more powerful, or whatever). WWDC can be reserved for for Mac Pro and iMac updates.
