^ Exactly. People are really underestimating what this next upgrade will bring. And the excuses about "WELL, it has can't be very LONG! It must be in mid 2016... June at WWDC... September are just silly. Apple has updated the MacBook Pro more than yearly for 10 consecutive years. It's not unimaginable that they're going to be released sooner. Remember how people also SWORE on here that Apple would do something completely unrelated to this topic since "any argument is an argument and we don't care about facts"

Where are your Skylake Macs you were SO sure were coming in March? :D

I miss Bob Mansfield. The only Apple exec who cared about Mac.

Sierra won't run on my Late 08. Goodbye old friend :( Wellp. Fall it is. Save more money so I can upgrade to a 1TB SSD for $700 more :/

That was a solid keynote. Disappointing no new hardware, but oh well. They are literally updating everything OS with incredible new capabilities and technologies across all their products and services. Yeah some of the iMessage stuff is a bit gimmicky, but ordinary people will eat those kind of features up.

There is no doubt Apple is still killing it. Apple remains the industry benchmark.

Apple did it before at the Spring Forward 2015 event. Redesigned MacBooks right along side the hot new Apple Watch. The products you list are already established....an entire keynote about a thinner AW, a thinner iPad Air and a smaller iPhone can easily be rounded out by announcement of a thinner rMBP (or more powerful, or whatever). WWDC can be reserved for for Mac Pro and iMac updates.
