Didn't expect new hardware but was hoping for at least more useful features for macOS. Some of the new stuff will be nice on all platforms, but just blown away they would add so much stuff to messages. That came out of left field.

Thought March was worse by far though.

Okay so September maybe all new Mac lineup across the board? Maybe even the coveted Mac Pro?

The only issue is that September will be dominated by iPhone 7 and Watch 2 at the very least, and possibly also iPad Pro 2. There likely isn't going to be stage time for the MBP, so unless they hold an October event, the wait could theoretically go into 2017!

That was a solid keynote. Disappointing no new hardware, but oh well. They are literally updating everything OS with incredible new capabilities and technologies across all their products and services.

tell me one incredible capability introduced in the new macOS, except for the copy and paste feature. I literally just finished watching the keynote and I cant remember.

There might be a slight uptick in Dell sales this week. September is a long way away when these new chips are already in other notebooks.

How do I get this? It's brilliant!

Apple are in trouble with their development community.

You cannot plan based on this.

Very annoyed. I would have bought Spring 2015 if there was a proper roadmap.

Hype and secrecy and aura appears to trump the needs of the Apple developer community.

Bad form. But the dent is meaningless because MBPs are such a tiny percentage of the Mac segment of the pie that the corporate executives see.
