Waiting In Line For The Iphone 3g

I honestly don't foresee much of a line, if any at all this time around. Last June it was different because that was everyone's first chance at buying one/seeing one in person. By now, people are used to the iPhone being out in captivity so I really don't think it's going to be a big deal unless you're an extremely big Apple geek.

I'm thinking I'll just go the day after, I have a feeling they will have plenty of stock, but we'll find out closer to release. I wonder if they're doing another 6:00 pm release? or just when the store opens. If it's when the store opens i don't think there will be lines at all, as long as they have plenty of stock.

Is anyone else having trouble deciding over the white or black one?

Ugh, damn you apple for another month of waiting, i'm ready to buy NOW!

Going with white as an homage to my first iPod. It just seems more to me than black.

I went into an ATT store today, and he said the limit is 3 per person this time and they close for two hours and then start selling them at 6 again.
He thinks there is going to be another line, especially longer this time because of the prices, the limits, and the activation times....

It's cold here in Seattle, I better layer up!!

Other AT&T stores have said limit 1 per person, same as original at launch. If it is indeed limit 3, then they'll have plenty of stock.

If the sale of the new phone is anything to go buy, there were 2 of us queueing in the UK when it was released. Avoid main apple shops & go to small town centers
