if you dont like wal-mart then dont go in there, but stop being some fascist and forcing your opinions on everyone else. I dont particularly bother with wal-mart but at the same time i could also give a **** if they sell the iphone, all the fanboys are just sour cuz their boy Jobs let them down by allowing such a prestigious product to be sold at a place such as wal-mart

because those who shop at walmart are more likely to not be able to pay their bills after they spend $200 on a subsidized phone.

Uggh you people and your picky attitudes. I mean people who can't afford to shop elsewhere.

Ugggh..... you people and your idiotic generalized statements about people who shop at these type of stores...

I can make a stereotype, too.

People who use Apples are douchebags and homosexuals.

Am I right? Yeah, sort of. But not everyone falls into this catagory. Same goes with people who shop at Walmart.

I think its a good thing. More people who buy it, hopefully means more cool things that came out for the iPhone.

As Ive said before, its no wonder apple/mac users get labeled as "elitist" ******s.

In case you havent noticed, everyone from the poorest mofo to the richest has a cell phone. Some of you act like the iphone is a Rolls Royce and only attainable by the upper crust of society. Get over yourselves. If you dont like Walmart, dont shop there.

I presume most of the attitude is stuck up rich kids who never had to buy a damn thing for themselves. Have a few kids and get some responsibility and see if you feel the same way. Everyone is looking to save some dough these days, and if Walmart is cheaper than the store down the street Im going to Walmart.

I have a good job, make good money, and have an iphone. But I dont complain that the kid working at McDonalds has an iphone also.

I do Not in any way consider my iPhone to be a "prestigious" product. I consider my iPhone to be a USEFUL product. It allows me to do Wikipedia and Google searches "right then and there" instead of having to try and remember until I can get to a computer (plus all the other useful things it does). Unlike someone who buys a $100 t-shirt because it has a logo of a certain fashion designer on it (when they could have bought a t-shirt without the logo for $15), I did not buy my phone because it has a designer logo on it. There is no other cell phone out there that can do what the iPhone can do, and if there had been one that was just as good but cost less, I definitely would have bought it. But there isn't, and so I have an iPhone3G. I am not someone that buys something because of the brand - I buy from the company that has the best product in each different category. In this case, it happened to be Apple. If it had been Casio cPhone or the Home Shopping Network's In-House phone, then I would have bought their phone.

I totally agree with you. I have a good job also, but I never once said there was anything wrong with "the kid at McDonalds" having one also. I just wish AT&T didn't charge that kid so much per month. $80 a month is ridiculous!

.

what the hells wrong with target?

I was wondering the same thing.

I don't shop at Wal*Mart, and haven't stepped foot in one for several years, but to put Target in the same category is ridiculous.

Target doesn't treat its workers, local communities, or censor its products in a remotely similar fashion. Even if you see nothing wrong with shopping at either, it still isn't fair to lump them together.

80 a month is comparable to any other provider in the united states, if you go to the major provider websites and shop for the same plan across all the websites its the same amount of money

really? the same? try checking out cricket.

I have my iphone on a prepaid plan and pay less than 40/month on average for the same services you get. Full 3g internet, and calls when I use it. $80/month may be a good plan for YOU, but not everyone else. Cell companies are full of greed, and you only accept it because you think you don't have a choice. Did you ever notice, that when one company raises its rates, they all follow suit? They are dependant on your willingness to pay for the service at a certain price, and AT&T thinks most people are willing to fork over $80/month to have the iPhone priviledge.

And, as for Target being in the same category as Walmarx? That is crazy. The Waltons don't part with their money easily. Walmarx forces its employees to go on welfare, fires them if they don't fit the system, and has more racist and sexist upper-management then any other company. It has gotten better the last few years, but still has many problems.
