You mean whole milk. ;)

I don't know..but something about buying an iPhone 4 at Wal-Mart just doesn't seem right. At least around here, Wal-Mart is definitely the lower end of the food chain when it comes to shopping places. You might get mugged in the parking lot. Buy your iPhone 4 along with your Twinkies, then head on over to "WE BUY GOLD" to get your loan.

It's as safe as Narnia.

Thanks for that. Being from the UK I've thought that aswell. Weird to think that CDMA is so standard over there. I think I still don't know how to pronounce their name properly though

It rhymes with horizon.

Unfortunately, they merged with MCI and I will not be one of their customers. MCI was my wired phone provider until I got a bill for $55 for one month in 2008. It was a $21.99 per month 'service' when I signed up in 2002. It was $22.99 in February 2005. But soon after MCI was bought by Verizon, the bill went up and up ... and up.

Oh come on dude.
Walmart!
Yeh a real high end store full of knowledgeable staff able to explain the intricacies of the most complex phone on the planet.

It won't destroy their "perfect" image, I'm sure, but it is a very odd choice for a company such as Apple. It's all about numbers and stock prices now.

Do you REALLY need advice from the salesperson about the iPhone?

i'll shop there

i've seen the same food brands as whole foods except 30% cheaper. i already get a lot of the same stuff as whole foods except at costco with big discounts.

and i have clothes i've bought at wal mart that have outlasted crap i've bought from the fancy/snobby/cool brands

Walmart sells a line of clothing that is more expensive in Europe, according to a local consumer guru. It is George.

So I called again, and they said that he has heard he might get some in. (This person was much more knowledgable than the others). So he said to call tomorrow to see if they have received any. He did however mention that they were supposed to get iPads when they first came out, but said it was at least 2 weeks after launch date that they actually received them.

At Walmart.com, I searched for iphone 4. The message was We found 96 results for "iphone 4" in all departments. Listing from highest to lowest price returned a case for $59 as the most expensive.

Maybe tomorrow it will be different.

I work for Wal-Mart on the logistics side. I hope the stores or at least some my DC serves will sell iPhones.

George.

The iphone was my first smart phone actually so yes I did need some help.

And phone contracts are tricky. I'd rather not go to Walmart to ask questions about a contract with a new provider.

Sure if I'm staying with a current provider and its not my first smart phone, Ok. But that certainly wasn't my experience. So yes I really needed advice when purchasing my iphone.
