Really? You would rather have something made of anodized aluminum with beveled edges that costs $129.99? (oh, and of course it needs to be rechargeable, with a lightning or USB-C port). And "water proof", because, you know, morons love to go swimming with their Apple accessories. *sigh*

Minimalistic, utilitarian design. It wasn't designed for wallets. People stuffing these into them...well, think "princess and the pea" - enjoy!
Where did I say any of that?

Something like tile but a bit thinner would be fine, but with same tech. The current design like a miniature airport or G3 iBook AC adapter.

As far as the Airtag is concerned, it is too thick and would produce a bulge that would wear my leather wallets. My wallets are LV tiaga, dunhill, coach, Tumi, AE shell cordovan, and custom stingray. Apple should had made a flat tracker. The design that they went with looks like a 2008 Apple Product.

I have not had any coins in my wallet so far this year, the space that used to carry coins now carries an Airtag that takes less space than the coins that it replaces, so it fits fine. Not many shops in the UK want to take change these days because of Covid. If fact I usually leave my wallet at home, unless I need to have my driving licence with me. Almost all my purchases are made with Apple pay on the watch. I live in the UK and understand that in other parts of the world this may not work.

People carry coins in their wallet? I never have once carried coins in my wallet. I don’t even want them in my pockets, let alone wallet.

I usually just leave them on the counter or give them to my kid. They deform leather, make my hands smell funny, and scratch my phone.

Of course our highest denomination of coinage in common supply is a quarter dollar (half dollars are becoming rare, and “silver” dollar coins are limited to unique vending situations like postal stamp machines and certain gambling) so your mileage may vary....

I only have some on-hand to operate the toucheless car wash machine, car vacuums, or throw at the occasional toll booth operator when I travel through a state that still hasn’t figured out automated tolling (states abuse tollbooths as jobs program to dish out fat pensions at age 44 to politically juiced individuals)

Coins are gross. Never in my wallets (but for reasons other than how gross they are)

My a*s hurts just looking at that thing. ;) I'll wait for a thin, credit-card sized solution.
I stopped putting my wallet in my back pocket around the age of 22 I think. A small wallet in the front.

I cannot remember the last time I paid for something with cash, much less a transaction that involved action coinage. I mean, it must be like 5+ years! Apple Pay or at the very least a credit/debit card.
