I ordered the 38mm SS with classic buckle this morning around 11:35AM EST. No movement yet. I should have ordered yesterday when I first found this thread.
i saw this thread at work and didn't bother to click in it until 9 last night.... i could have had a 5 hour jump....
that can be make or break in a situation like this

Possibly. I'm jealous of all the people who are able to see CC charges immediately...mine always posts charges at midnight. Maybe I should change banks...
Actually, I wish they would be more honest about what they actually have in stock.
The white and blue band sport watches were shipping quick.
Then it was the SS with white sport band.
Now its the SS with classic buckle.
If they would be a little more transparent, they wouldn't have people with multiple orders in the system wondering what is shipping next. Crazy.
This is what I keep hearing...that Apple store employees look at people who have a watch as if they have seen bigfoot. Do they not realize that there are demo watches in their stores? Anyway, glad it arrived safely!

i clicked mine because you put the thought in my head, but man, that was an intense split second while the page flashed and i went to another screen... lol

I had heard that at some point you couldn't cancel the order, so I wanted to see. Luckily they make sure you wanna cancel it. lol
I ordered at sometime around Thursday evening an have no movement either. So it doesn't make too much of a difference.
I wonder why I was just able to enter your order number and cancel it...

Just ordered the classic stainless steel 38mm from Apple Store HK and my card was charged as soon as I ordered.
Does this mean it's gonna ship sooner or is it just that Apple Store HK charges right away for all orders?
I have shipping window from May 20 -27.

Apple Store HK Charges the card as you order. If you'll notice, you can't cancel your orders anymore. This is an added step to discourage scalpers and people who just orders one of everything and cancels when one of the orders finally ships (like in the U.S. Store).
Hopefully it ships sooner as well. I'm outside one of the first wave of countries and I really can't wait to get my hands on one. The U.S store cancelled my orders twice even after I spoke to one of their representatives. So far, the order from HK seems to be through. No cancellation emails

I'm also ordering from outside HK and will have it shipped to a friend. If you were using a cargo forwarder in your US Store purchase, it will be cancelled by Apple as they do not allow shipping to forwarders.
I ordered a Aluminum BSB 38mm in the US store AND a space gray 42mm on the HK Store.
Priority-wise I think Apple studies the historical demand per region as well as color and size popularity to determine launch quantity. In case of HK, they might be assigning a lower volume since the population is just around 7mil. Nevertheless, they would also take into account the high demand coming from mainland China where their watch pricing is the second highest of all launch countries (beaten by UK) as it would be cheaper to source it from HK.
If I hit the cancel button for my watch, I get "Your item may be ineligible for cancelation online. Contact an Apple Online Store representative at 1-800-MY-APPLE for further assistance" and have since I ordered it. So that particular message appears to be completely unrelated to shipping.
Hey everyone! The 38mm SS with Classic Buckle that I ordered on the 30th arrived yesterday afternoon. Here are some shots of it I'd love to share!
Those look great! Wow I must say I originally ordered this to get one faster (not working out) but after seeing it I am dang impressed.
I ordered 4/30 sometime around 6pm. So I wish mine would move soon.
