When I was looking through all the watches before ordering one, each one said June except for the 38mm SS, which said 4-6 weeks. This is probably just a good supply/demand ratio on that model.

When you've got a 42mm SS that's shipping, holla.

Just this moment ordered a 38SS black classic buckle. I am in Hong Kong at moment ordered for my Australian home address delivery though. 4-6 weeks, it says. Don't REALLY want to wait that long, so if I don't get a shipping in next few days I will cancel probably. This was a spur of moment purchase I didn't think I'd want one but now... right now...I think I do.

I'm a bit curious how the two order limit works. Is it first two orders placed, or first two orders processed?

I also ordered 38mm SS Classic Buckle and got it quickly. I ordered it Sunday night, original delivery date changed twice on Monday and then it shipped. I received it on Tuesday.

I guess this wasn't the most popular option but it looks great and I've ordered a couple of sport bands too. I love the SS finish.

OP may have gotten lucky. But the rest of us (in the states) now have another watch going through processing hell lol. Thanks, but it didn't work for me.

Again, as one astute poster said on launch day:

Worst launch ever.

The decision to not just produce watches with one basic black sport band and then allow people to get them in true sequential order and then buy another band was ridiculous at least for the standard and sport models. I could see the Edition line up being a "to build" order with band considering the costs, but the standard and sports should just have had a BSB to start and let you order another band independently. It's very puzzling to me that with the obvious market research showing that sport and standard buyers were going to buy bsb either wasn't revealed or ignored seems bizarre to say the least. I think Apple took the idea of the watch as a "fashion/status item" waaaayy to seriously. It's an appliance/toy for 95% of it's users, only the pop celebs and junior goldbricks will be crass enough to sport one as a status symbol to the masses.

Also works for me in the German Store!
Ordered yesterday 23:18 GMT+2 and is preparing for shipping today ('Versand wird vorbereitet').

I'm tempted, but not at $650.

The 38mm SS with WSB WAS shipping fast, but apparently not anymore. :(

The thing that annoys me most is Apple's '4-6 week' estimate. If you can ship the watch the next day then just say so! They would be selling product they actually HAVE in stock and there would be less frustration for buyers. Imagine that!

Well maybe I jinxed it. But I haven't seen anything overnight. Hopefully something today. Either way it has the shortest lead time. I'm not changing anymore.

I know the feeling. I ordered a SS WSB on the 28th when I thought they were shipping quicker. If I had realized, I would have ordered this one. Once again, I wish Apple would be more transparent about ACTUAL stock. The classic buckle looks WAY better than the WSB.

I have a 38mm SG sport with black sport band still in the box. Don't have a clue what to do at this point.

Black is always the best seller. It is also one of the most common watch colors.

How they could not anticipate that they would need way more black than everything else combined is mind blowing. How they could launch this product so poorly is mind blowing.

eBay.

Welp, I wrecked it. Sorry guys. When the 38 mm SS WSB was shipping in a day, I ordered one. SUDDENLY! No movement. Yesterday I saw this thread. Ordered a 38 mm SS BCB at 10:23 pm EDT. SURPRISE! no movement.

Arghhhhh. Cancel yours so we can get ours! Haha no. Just kidding. A lot of people were saying theirs started to move the next day.

I'm done changing around and this is way more money than I was going to spend. But like I said....this is my graduation gift to myself haha.

Oh, so it's your fault? JK

I ordered on the 28th. No movement on 38mm SS WSB. US.

No movement for me either. I ordered yesterday around 6 central time.

I haven't been charged and it still gives me a 2-3 week estimate. Despite this I am still thrilled! It's so nice to see 2-3 weeks instead of June! This one is a keeper for sure! I hope it ships today, but if not, waiting two weeks is better than waiting till June!

That said, I'm assuming everyone who ordered later in the day like me has seen no movement?

Graduation gift? Maybe that can be my excuse.

I graduate from ITT in 4 weeks AND I'm in line to be valedictorian (not a huge accomplishment as the curriculum didn't seem all that difficult).

No...I ruined it when I ordered one at 7:27PM your time. I'm still feeling like a cat trying to catch a laser light.

Correct...

Yeah, well you're not the responsible for wreaking it all by yourself. I helped by ordering as well.
