Why...? I've been using the Nude for weeks now, without any problems at all. I 'slide' my iPhone on my coffee table
and desk all the time and the case has one tiny scratch on it that you really have to look for in order to see it.
IMO the SE Nude is as minimal as a case can be.

On the other hand, that Wrapsol film does look nice and sleek, so it might indeed be better or nicer if you really want a 'naked' iPhone.
Just wondering, don't the corners come off sometimes after your iPhone goes in and out of your pants a couple of times?

I was thinking that the corners might come off from sliding in and out of my pocket but that has yet to happen, been using it for over a week and no complaints, best solution IMO if your careful with your phone.

And with the Nude, I feel like it was pretty sharp and offered no lay on the table for the screen. And there are many better snap on cases then the nude, quite a bit of competition in that.

For me the best combo for a naked iphone are static cling front/back films like PS and Switcheasy and vinyl stickers for the antenna (Luckylabs or icolorwraps).

The static cling protectors don't have orange peel and feel/look just like glass.

As for the vinyl sides: they are easier to apply than wet shields, have less pieces, protect around the buttons, plus allow you to change the color.

With this the only exposed part will be the home button. I am still looking for a solution to protect it (recomendations are wellcome).

Like you I'm still looking for that perfect pouch or a belt holster.

Hope this helps

Thats kinda what I'm doing. Waiting for luckylabs order. SGP for Screen front and Marware screen for back. I just need a case for drop protection. I'm leaning towards the Jett or XcelCase can't decide and one is priced at 100 dollars...

I'm not sure that either of these are safe for drop protection. If you plan on dropping your phone, might want to look into a different case.

Agreed.
The aluminium cases aren't exactly what I'd look at when I'm looking for protection.
Unless you just want minimal scratch protection; which to be honest, vinyl stickers can offer just as much.

i just ordered the SFbags suede sleeve/w pocket. I wanted just something simple, have my headphones or some cash +CC+ID for when im out at night.

EDIT--- Just got a email saying it was shipped already....wow, now thats really fast service.

Those look great.

When you get it can you check if there is anychance of fitting an iPhone with an slim case there (Like Hula or Vulcan). Or will it require the larger 3GS/Bumper version?

Thanks.

I just noted in your signature that you are using an Otterbox. It will be quite a difference when you go naked!

looking forward to it, i was doing work where my phone could easily be dropped. So i was using the defender to protect, since im not doing that anymore...i get to enjoy the sleek and sexiness of the iphone 4.

UPS Just delivered my powersupport 2 piece film set :D.

Was previously using no screenprotector and just a white bumper; luckily i have 0 scratches :). Now im going naked and ill just slip it into one of the iPod socks !

well, first night out naked...i was scared when people were using my phone for pictures....

got the back screen protector on there and got my waterfield suede jacket.

The suede jacket is a pretty tight fit, for the person who was asking, i doubt it will with ANY case on it what so ever.

Over all its a nice thin case....i survived my first naked experience...the iphone is a sexy device.

So far loving my phone caseless. Using a Casemate one but still looking for perfect sleeve.

Hi Melissa. Have you found a good sleeve yet?

I have decided to go with a belt holster for everyday, but I am still looking for a good sleeve for occasional pocket carry.

has anyone tried both the bodyguardz back / sides and bestskinever back/sides? any difference? the bodyguardz is a little more expensive but also offers lifetime replacements. im looking for something with a little more grip. thanks

Well after it was hit and slid off the table onto the floor I put a case back on. Its ok but not taking another chance.

I currently use the seude jacket as well from waterfields. I am using wrapsol full body and it's a little tight sliding into the sleeve, I'm looking for some
Other good sleeves, thinking about picking up a seude jacket to fit the bumper but it might be a little too lose.

I have tried the Bodyguardz and BSE. The Bodyguardz is a better product but is not going to add grip. Try the Wrapsol Ultra and see my thread about a wet install.

i actually did read it and was considering it, but i didnt read anywhere about it adding some grip to the phone? maybe i missed it? im also not looking to use any front screen protectors, just the back and sides. both BSE and bodyguardz offer just the back/side combo w/o the front for a cheaper price.

The suede jacket for the 3GS might be a better fit.

Incidents like that make me reconsider about using the iPhone naked.

What case are you using right now?

For my phone I will change from naked to a Vulcan TPU case.

I too would like to have a naked phone. The closest I have been able to come is the apple bumper.

I've had no good results with luckylabs or icolorwrap band covers.

Unless you cover 100% of the metal band holding the phone still causes antennagate (and these band covers do not hide all of the metal).

On the updside, the band covers do cause the apple bumper to fit way more snuggly.
