Thank you! I got MMS, Facetime, my data connection working AND got rid of the "Call Forwarding Active" message that kept popping up, - with that repo fix!

Thank you!!

Couple of 3 things though...

lol this gave me the emoji icons which I didn't have or notice before

when my phone restarts to the black screen with the white apple there's two small dead pixel like lines across the top...?

my signal bars seem low but we'll see how that is when i head to walmart later UPDATE - No Service...now what?!?1

Same here.
Those emoji things popped up on all my texts. Kinda cool and a pleasant surprise though :)
The black screen thing has been happening since the JB before I even installed the package to fix facetime so I doubt it was because of that.
And the signal bars are fine and the same.

So the http://iphonedelivery.advinux.fr/cydia fix worked perfectly for me. Thanks

One question -- What is the program that I just installed? It looks like it was intended for something else and I'm not crazy about having programs on my phone I'm not familiar with. Anyone know?

I tried uninstalling it and I lost MMS and Facetime again.

From Planetbeing on Twitter:

"FaceTime and MMS should now be fixed for new jailbreakme users. We're still working on something for people who already used it."

Exactly, all that needs to be done is restore from a pre-JB backup and you will be fine. So if you backup your phone, JB it, then connect it and cancel the sync so it doesn't backup the JB settings, you should be able to keep your phone exactly in the condition it was by doing restore from backup.

Or instead of canceling the sync you can just make a copy of your backup folder and then after the phone syncs replace the backup folder with the copy that way the old backup overwrites the new one. Probably the most fail safe thing to.
Can someone please explain why restoring from the backup doesn't remove the jailbreak?

Another forum is listing this as working. Haven't tried it yet.

Intall OpenSSH via Cydia and SSH into your device and run the following commands.

chmod 755 /var/mobile
chmod 755 /var/mobile/Library
chmod 755 /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
reboot

Mine is working fine now. What should I do first on it? SBSettings?

You can install anything you want from cydia without any probs.
Alot of cydia repos and even cydia is getting hit hard and some stuff dont even download to install.
I'd give it a little time cause I still wasnt able to install 3Gunrestrictor and quickreplySms from the cydia store.

Well, I've already got a boyfriend. How about a date with my brother? ;)
