This is a shoutout now... Does anyone have MacWorld San Francisco 2002?
Thanks.![]()
Glenn Wolsey said:You guys want web space? I can offer some to upload Keynotes too.
Whoever is looking to upload them, PM me and I will provide you with some FTP information.
I can store the entire collection if you like.
XIII said:How much web space are you talking about Glenn? We would need a few gigs, and mostly a fair amount of bandwidth.. If you have a look at the FileFront stats, thats how much we've used in just a couple of days. I reckon we would burn 100GB of bandwidth at least every month.
FearFactor47 said:Thank you so much for uploading these. I just watched the NY 2000 keynote - everyone got free optical mouses!
Hard to immagine why the G4 Cube wasn't successful? It looks great!

Still, some cool titles in there.![]()
Yeah, it's crap, (I uploaded that one), but we decided in the other topic that we would upload anything, whatever quality or file type and let people who have better quality replace it if they want. That means go for uploading the real version of it, I for one would love to get hold of your copy.FadeToBlack said:Just downloaded the WWDC 1998 keynote and it's really bad quality. (no offense to whoever uploaded it!) If anyone wants, I can upload a much higher quality version. The only bad thing is that it's a Real Player file. It's still pretty bad quality, but it's better than the one that's already uploaded.

Ok, heres where I'm at. I'm sure we could find someone to do a site for Apple Keynotes, its the hosting thats a problem. DreamHost.com have a package with 20GB of storage space, and 1TB of bandwidth for $7.95/mo. There is a free .com address included too - AppleKeynotes.com. If your not happy with DreamHost within 97 days (speed too slow, etc), then you will be refunded everything!
If a few of us who are game did it together, we could put all the keynotes up at a site. Maybe get some advertising up there to cut even/make a small profit. Its really just for people who, like me, feel it would be nice to get a fast download, working, Apple Keynote site out there.
Anyone game?
