I don't have it :(

This is a shoutout now... Does anyone have MacWorld San Francisco 2002?

Thanks. :)

some of the speeds are pretty S*&Ty but, hey, at least they are there and we now have a place to get them for free. I saw its all very much worth the wait and I'm greatful for everyone who is uploading with us.

You guys want web space? I can offer some to upload Keynotes too.

Whoever is looking to upload them, PM me and I will provide you with some FTP information.

I can store the entire collection if you like.

*pulls his hair out at the speed* Wow I'm having flashbacks to my 28.8 days. Umm why aren't we using bittorrent? Get a couple dozen people on with a fat enough pipe and we should be all set.

How much web space are you talking about Glenn? We would need a few gigs, and mostly a fair amount of bandwidth.. If you have a look at the FileFront stats, thats how much we've used in just a couple of days. I reckon we would burn 100GB of bandwidth at least every month.

Well, it's a friends server. 40GB storage.

Just downloaded the WWDC 1998 keynote and it's really bad quality. (no offense to whoever uploaded it!) If anyone wants, I can upload a much higher quality version. The only bad thing is that it's a Real Player file. It's still pretty bad quality, but it's better than the one that's already uploaded.

Thank you so much for uploading these. I just watched the NY 2000 keynote - everyone got free optical mouses!

Hard to immagine why the G4 Cube wasn't successful? It looks great!

Wow, that's a lot of downloads going at the same time. How fast is your connection?

Hey, can someone PM the link so I can download some of these a few I haven't got, if thats okay.

Thanking you in advance....

Just got a DVD of keynotes and other Apple stuff in from a MR member (Macintologist) and I should be uploading some more keynotes once I get all these sorted and see which ones on this disc I have and which ones I don't. I've got some really good ones here that aren't uploaded on the server yet, as far as I know:

MWNY 2002
MWSF 2004
Apple Expo London 6/2004
Apple Expo Paris 2002

There's probably a lot more on this disc that I don't have. I've just gotta go through 'em and look.

I should be able to upload some later on today.

We really should be using Bittorrent for this and not web servers, we'd get faster download speeds because there'd be a lot of seeders for this kind of content.

I don't know how to make torrents but if anybody does, that'd be great and we could get it done that way.

the problem with bittorrent is eventually people wont share the file anymore so it would only be as fast as this site is. If someone wants to host the torrents thats sweet, but I think we should keep uploading to this page FileFront as well so that whenever the torrents die we still have them at least up somewhere.

I can make torrents if people really want.. but I am not really in a position to be seeding them all 24/7.

EDIT: And that Steve London - its the Europe iTMS launch, VERY cool one to get. :) I'd love it.

Sorry for the double post, just think it needs a new one.

Can we please rate the files, using the built in 1-5 star tool, on quality. This would really help distinguise between the good and poor quality ones. Thanks.

Yeah, it's crap, (I uploaded that one), but we decided in the other topic that we would upload anything, whatever quality or file type and let people who have better quality replace it if they want. That means go for uploading the real version of it, I for one would love to get hold of your copy.

Exactly. :)

Ok, heres where I'm at. I'm sure we could find someone to do a site for Apple Keynotes, its the hosting thats a problem. DreamHost.com have a package with 20GB of storage space, and 1TB of bandwidth for $7.95/mo. There is a free .com address included too - AppleKeynotes.com. If your not happy with DreamHost within 97 days (speed too slow, etc), then you will be refunded everything!

If a few of us who are game did it together, we could put all the keynotes up at a site. Maybe get some advertising up there to cut even/make a small profit. Its really just for people who, like me, feel it would be nice to get a fast download, working, Apple Keynote site out there.

Anyone game?

I have a dreamhost account I never use, it has the 20gb storage and 1TB bandwidth, I'd be happy to let people upload movies to it, the domain name (which already has some ads) is http://xlerate.org Jack, PM me if interested...
