Any fans here? Thinking about jumping back in. I downloaded the Regiments III demo off Steam and it looks promising…

Years ago, I played Wargame: Red Dragon and do have that in my Steam library, but got frustrated with the AI kicking my butt.

I have that too and maybe I should try it. Is this a Homeworld type of game, plus civilization?

I’m frustrated with this Regiments III demo. Not enough info, there’s supposed to be 8 phases to this skimage with a silly timer, which is not good for someone learning, plus I took a zone and got no points for that , which is what you need to keep going. And there is no multiplayer, which is disappointing.

I'm not familiar with Homeworld.

Stellaris has some similarities to a Civ type game but it isn't turned based. It has a much higher degree of complexity.

If you already own it, I recommend that you give it a try. Otherwise, the base game is often on sale.

The Regiments demo frustrated me. It’s what they don’t tell you… then I learned it has no MP element. 😞
