Airport Utility isn't a file sharing app, I bet it'd work fine in 27 if a user were to copy it over.

Regardless, Intel apps still run in macOS 27. Apple just probably figured that since their newest Airport product is over 8 years old that they could safely end support for it.

I just installed macOS 27 and guess what, no Airport Utility. So I guess it was never coded for apple silicon. That sucks.

I agree! I'm surprised Apple would delete it.

I wonder if Apple just hid the app by moving it to an obscure location. I don't have macOS27 at my disposal to test, but if it was just moved, the following command should find it:

find /System -iname "AirPort Utility.app" 2>/dev/null

It looks through the entire System (read-only) volume (discarding all the "Permission denied" errors).

So is it no longer possible to manage AirPort equipment at all in macOS, without the Utility app? If so a crying shame, I still use them at home with their own isolated networks for my printer/AirTunes support. For this purpose they work fine...

If so, yet again a great irony as you can still easily manage them from Windows using the Utility app.
