Uh, on the BodyGuardz homepage:

BodyGuardz are a clear film that covers the body of a device providing scratch protection from outside elements.

Nowhere do they say the film offers protection from falls.

Power Support films do not offer drop protection either. You just got lucky with your previous iPhone (and unlucky with this iPhone).

I LOL at you. Bodyguardz doesn't protect from drops. Just scratches.

Here is another blurb from the Bodyguardz homepage, found if you click the link "What is Bodyguardz?":

Looking for a product to protect your device from scratches, but not hide the beauty of it? Look no further. BodyGuardz scratch-proof transparent skins are designed to custom fit each particular device.

And now some from the ZAGG invisible Shield FAQs:

Can I use a carrying case once I install the invisibleSHIELD onto my device?

The purpose of the invisibleSHIELD is to keep your device safe and protected from dings and scratches without having to cover it up with a case.

Will the invisibleSHIELD protect my device from ever breaking, or my screen from ever cracking?

ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD is an exceptionally clear and virtually indestructible film that will protect your device from scratches. The invisibleSHIELD will not protect your device from breaking or your screen from ever cracking.

I am sorry that your phone broke, and I think you should try getting it replaced by Apple, but if you thought the Bodyguardz was going to prevent damage from drops, then you're out of luck. No false advertising, no scams. It is what they say it is.

It says full protection but doesn't say from what. Anyone with any common sense would realize that a very thin layer of vinyl is not going to protect a device from any fall onto a hard surface. Maybe if it was about half an inch thick? I would recommend you take a remedial physics course and/or cover your entire house in Nerf material...

Is this guy serious or joking because there is no way someone is this dumb that thinks a screen protector is going to protect from drops. People like this guy is what makes good companies look bad because of stupid user reasons. Full body protection is to have the naked phone without the scratches of a naked phone.

Btw I have used zagg and ghost armor, the best so far has been the bodygaurdz. Don't listen to this fool.

This is probally the same guy the sued mcdonalds for getting burned with a hot coffee. It only said coffee, it didn't say it was hot.

This is why we we're forced to have warning labels on everything. People are always misunderstanding what they mean.

Actually this one is completely obvious. A film that is only micrometers thick can not protect your phone from a constant acceleration of 9.8 meters per second to 0 over a distance of two feet on to a hard surface.

LOL micrometers? im assuming you mean millimetres? Just checking.

Later,
AE

This thread is hilarious and has made my day.

I'm taking the OP to Vegas with me to count cards cause rain man could do it and he was a reh-tard too.

I think the police use body guardz on their new vest instead of kevlar, it can withstand anything.

Sorry had to do that.
