Thanks for this thread! So what is the solution to avoid this problem? could some one share please!
Don't toggle 3G if you have a CDMA 4s...? I'm fairly certain that was pretty self-explanatory.

So this isn't affecting the AT&T 4S's correct?
had the same issue. I uninstalled SBsettings and rebooting the phone. Overnight I got the same "No Service" again. Disable all network and enabling it again restored service but I hope this isn't a constant cat and mouse game we have to play...
<5.2.2 - one change only. Updated 3g toggle to not load on CDMA devices. All other files are the same. If you lost service on a CDMA device using the old 3g toggle, use the settings app, go to general, reset, and reset network settings (do not reset anything else). Reboot, and you should be back.>
Well that didn't work for me. I was forced into a restore when I reset network settings. This is cut and paste from Cydia's FAQ I found afterwards.
Sorry if this is a double post but it seems that anyone with a CDMA 4s that's installing sbsettings and toggling the 3G toggle losing service and cannot get it back. Some seem to have luck with resetting network settings and others not. It did happen to me to and I ended up doing a restore. I didn't know to try resetting network settings so did not try it.
Hope this helps someone. If you've had an experience please post if the reset works without a restore.
Well that didnt work because that's not what you did.
You were supposed to do a reset network NOT an erase all content and settings.![]()
Well you're half right. I see now that I hit Reset All Settings instead of Reset Network Settings. Sorry chief. But that's not "erase all content and settings", that's the next button, which I knew to stay away from. Go ahead and tap Reset All Settings like I did and you'll see that it gives you a chance to cancel and tells you specifically, which made me feel safe, that NO data or media will be deleted. It sure didn't sound like I would be force into a reboot, which I was.
I guess you get mixed up in the morning, I get confused after being up 24 hours. Roll eyes my arse.
Oh, I see it now.
Reset all settings, the first one on top.
Yes, that wasnt the right one either![]()
