Have any stores received the grey/clear reveal case? This is the one I've been searching for this locally since it closely resembles the silver on the bumper.

Do you just say that you want to price match target? Did you bring in an ad? or the online version?

yeah, i didn't have an ad with me, and their online site doesn't show any ip5 cases yet. the cashier was messing around for awhile, but he eventually asked someone higher up who told him to match it. they took my word for it. i had just come from Target so i wasn't making it up or anything. it isn't a sale price either - that is the regular Target price.

I bought this case at best buy and have no scratches. The only problem is that the clear backing shows a lot of scuffs, but this case is great for a temporary use.

Got the case 2 hours ago and it is already scratched up... I was cleaning the dust off of it with a new microfiber cloth and it left hairline scratches all over.

I am now getting a mold-like pattern forming on the inner side of the clear plastic on the Reveal case for iPhone 5. I am unalbe to clean it. Anyone else?

I ordered this and will hopefully receive it soon.

I have absolutely no protection on my phone right now, due to the unavailability of any decent cases from the start and my screen protector getting lost in the mail.

I will most likely also purchase an all rubbery case. I just need to find one in a decent color

so, after some use, i'm not a big fan of this case. it isn't very comfortable to hold, imo. it offers acceptable protection i'd say, but is far from "perfect" to me. i meticulously cleaned it of all dust (with compressed air) prior to putting it on my phone and i can already see dust accumulating inside the back. nothing that is scratching my phone or anything, just very fine dust and fibers. really, the biggest issue for me is the overall contour. it feels very "square" in your hand, more so than the naked phone. i guess i prefer a case with more rounded sides.

Got this case, and hate it already.
Yes, it did scratch the case.. plus the bumper feels like a fine sand paper.

I bought one if these from BB, got new phone and put it in. Noticed scratches on inside of case already. Took it back up to swap it out. Put IP5 in new case and look on back... Walla... Scratched. The edges on the IP5 scratch the inside of the case when you are putting it in. DO NOT BUY.

I was really disapointed because I had this case on my IP4 and loved it. I guess Griffen changed the makup of the plastic. :(

Yep, just happened to me at a Verizon store. The case slipped on easily and looked and felt great, but when I turned it around and looked at the back, it had already scratched the inside clear plastic. I took the phone out and tried to put it back in as gentle as possible. More scratches appeared. I told the employee why I wasn't going to buy the case. It sucks because that is a great looking case. It hugs the phone perfectly and feels really nice in the hand, but I'm not going to buy a case that scratches that easily. I went with the Otterbox Commuter instead.

Same thing happened to me. I think we both put it in the case wrong though. "You're casing it wrong" :D

The case is very soft rubber, I don't see how this could have scratched your phone unless you had a large chunk of dirt/sand in there or something.
is anybody stopping to think, maybe it is just the dirt cheap slate job flaking off with contact?

if my phone starts flaking off paint within a couple weeks even under a TPU or silicone case going to raise hell

Seriously don't buy a Reveal case from these numptys

Scratch issues to follow...

I had one for my iPhone 4 (white). I bought a white case and within 2 weeks it was nearly back and would not clean. So I swapped it for a black one.

Now I have an iPhone 5 I got the new Reveal, again in white assuming they'd fixed it. They hadn't. I can live with that however.

But the bloomin thing has put loads of small indentations on the back of my phone. Obviously some debris has got between the case and the phone, however my phone has never been removed from the case- the debris has worked it's way in there.

I told Griffen about this and they said that it wasn't their problem but hey, if you want, you can have another Reveal case on us! As if. Don't buy one guys.

They said that it's not airtight and as such they can't be liable for stuff getting behind the case and the phone.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

I bough this case on launch day and I think it's a great case. With a back protector of course.

My experience with this case was awful. I had lots of those "indentations" put on my iPhone, and the back got ridiculously scratched up. I switched to an awesome Belkin case and probably won't be trying Griffin ever again.
