Honestly sounds fun. I enjoy Mario kart, and loved playing Cartoon Network racing on my GameBoy.

Not AAA, but let’s be honest, most of Nintendo’s games are not AAA, in the “PC Master Race” sense and they’re still beloved.

Although in my opinion (and to my taste) Nintendo’s flagship titles are often the absolute top tier in other senses where many conventional ”PC Master Race” AAA titles fall short. Game design, sound design, polish, overall feel, longevity etc. While perhaps not having as many polygons and gfx-effects… The sound design of some of the top tier Nintendo games (e.g. BOTW) is crazy impressive!

I guess Nintendo caters to an entirely different market though with their traditional japanese cozy vibe. So I get it that it’s not for everyone. Also it’s clear that they just prioritize different things, for good and bad (e.g. Nintendo doesn’t get internet or online play). And there’s certainly a pretty big chunk of mediocre hit-or-miss-titles which aren’t produced by the flagship nintendo studios.

Cart Racer featuring Family Guy and American Dad characters? Is it 2010? American Dad is still watchable, but Family Guy has gone the way of the Simpsons. Just impossible to watch with characters that are no longer interesting. Pity, both shows in the prime were pretty awesome.

For some having a real goat is out of reach.
I’d leave a laugh response, but there really isn’t an appropriate response icon to capture that “oh whoa, that’s funny but dark” or “whoa, I can’t believe he went there” feeling! But well played, I’m very glad I wasn’t sipping any beverages when I read your comment!

Might be a good addition. Apple Arcade should get many more games.
The big problem is that Apple Arcade (rightly) blocks IAP. So it’ll typically only get indie games or AAA games (or popular game licenses) that the developers feel wouldn’t be able to be turned into a cash cow through freemium mechanics and IAP. When the most played games in the world these days are all freemium games, that hampers the appeal of Apple Arcade.

is Apple Arcade good?

It's hit and miss.

Legends of Kingdom Rush is very addictive after getting over the learning curve. Tangle Tower is fantastic with one of the best soundtracks ever in a digital game. Grindstone is an excellent alternative to puzzle games like Candy Crush Saga.

Beyond a Steel Sky is a decent adventure game that works best on newer Apple hardware. Shinsekai is intriguing but it's too easy to get stuck with no clues on how to proceed. Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is a beautiful addition to the series but it can get extremely repetitive.

Anyway those are some highlights. Apple Arcade isn't too bad for the price if you can find a few diamonds in the rough.

Most of Apple Arcade is junk. And/or for litte kids. I mean, I get it for free because of Music, TV+ and iCloud storage, but still, just junk. Why not offer game classics if the 90s and even 80s, some more intelligent strategy games...

No kidding, that size 16 shoe gives Peg an unfair advantage. Oh they have to roll out the Bug-A-Bago! Maybe Luann can drive the Manger Baby Mobile haha.

I got dibs though on Nancy in the Meteorologist weather van. Could you imagine unlocking John Redcorn to drive stick in her ride ?

Now this looks good.

I remember the Simpsons game in the arcade.

It was basically Double Dragon with Simpsons.

If you chose Marge you could kill baddies with a vacuum cleaner.

Still don’t understand why they don’t just reskin cell damage… for things like this… forget the actual race, just focus on the mayhem.
